gamefood: Only per Twitch and Youtube? I 'd prefer a "normal" podcast: mp3, so put it in my player so I can listen while driving, waiting, working, sleeping ... :)
avatar
ScreamingJoypad: This is in the works :-) Watch this space :-)
That's good. Cause a podcast that can't be downloaded as just audio... is kinda stupid. It's one of my pet peeves ok? ;)

Ciris: A GOG staff Q&A isn't out of the question - but only when we're 100% sure of the stuff we're sharing.
avatar
Cyraxpt: Oh... Really?
Heh! well it is still far off in the future and right now they are only at10% sure. That commitment was made what, about six and a half months ago? At this rate maybe our great, great grandchildren will be able to witness a GOG staff Q&A someday. ;)
Nice! Can't wait to listen in =)

Will it be every Thursday at 4pm EST or is that just for the unveiling? Also, I noticed you mentioned you'd like to get the recording up on iTunes, any chance you guys will put it up on Google Play Music for those of us using it these days as well?
avatar
Ciris: The plan is to also get the audio out in podcast locations like iTunes - so a regular podcast format is also in the plans! :)
avatar
ShadowOwl: This is want I wanted to hear! Thanks. :)
Ditto

hannes3120: It's a shame that it's only on Youtube - would be great if it was available as a regular Podcast
You can save the sound of the video from Youtube to MP3 or other formats if you want and listen everywhere you want it. There are different plugins for Firefox, Chrome etc. for doing that.

You know how it is, Gog works at Valve/ID time, at least the Top Men™ are on the case!
Have to say, Im excited for the releases youre going to talk about.

Can we request for a standalone download be made available WITHOUT having to use iTunes? iTunes is like Steam. Plenty dont want to install yet another piece of software (plenty dont use it for various reasons)
Wait, I just got here. 35 minutes and it's over already?
A Podcast? No thanks! :D

popperik: Wait, I just got here. 35 minutes and it's over already?
It will start in 15 minutes. :-)

Huh? Podcast stream doesn't start for another 10 minutes.

What commitment? What promise? Reading the post Cyraxpt linked to, Ciris says nothing more than that she would TRY to get such a thing set up at some indeterminate point "in the future [...] not too far off." She only used those terms -- no promise, no mention of a definite timeframe. Or did she do this in a different post?

Piranjade: I can assure you that no member of the StreamTeam does forum programming for GOG, so no resources have been taken away to do the GOGcast.
avatar
Wishbone: No resources have been allocated to fixing the forum issues either ;-p
...Nor have any really been allocated to the stream team (other than, IIRC, compensating Outstar for coordinating everything). In fact, since the Stream schedule (such as it is) was offloaded to Teamup.com, GOG's Twitch channel has been, in my view, almost entirely unpromoted here but for the rare mention in a news post (and, of course, occasional forum posts by the streamers).

A tweet was sent out at 9PM CET saying

Episode 1 of the #GOGcast goes live NOW! Tune in at Twitch.tv/GOGcom & meet this week's guests. pic.twitter.com/zny1F7D9Lc

My bad then :)
So far it's pretty bad. They have serious technical problems. I can hardly understand anything that Outstar and Megapieman are saying.
