Are you sure that GST doesn't mean "GOG Standard Time", as in "around or about that time" or just generally "soonish"? :-P

HunchBluntley: Like I said, I was just making the comment for the sake of being able to make the lame "incest" "joke". ; )
But now you've got me curious -- does anyone in Germany actually use the term "German Summer Time"/the abbreviation "GST" in an official capacity? A cursory Google search doesn't turn up any uses of the English phrase "German Summer Time"; besides which, I imagine the German-language equivalent of that phrase would be unlikely to have the same abbreviation as the English one. (As Aturuxo said, Googling "GST" just comes up with results related to some British Commonwealth countries' versions of VAT.)
HunchBluntley: Not since the incident.

Never again.
LOL. Not sure why, but reminds me of that one scene from BioDome: But now you've got me curious -- does anyone in Germany actually use the term "German Summer Time"/the abbreviation "GST" in an official capacity? "Remember the great fire of 1979 that supposedly started in your garage when that chipmunk ingested some fertilizer and then fell into a can of kerosene, instantly turning him into a flying little fluffy little molotov cocktail that set ablaze leveling the whole neighborhood west of Newton's Hardware Store?"
"You started that fire?"
"No but that was pretty cool huh?"
