I want to add my voice to the many loyal GOG users who want to see Devotion released on GOG.com. This latest decision to bow down to blackmail from the Chinese communists seems to be just the latest in a string of poor and frankly spineless recent decisions by GOG. First, you lack the conviction to pull No Man's Sky from your supposedly '100% DRM-free' store, and now this pathetic showing.

In addition, I feel more and more that GOG doesn't really want my business, as a non-Galaxy user, with all these rewards and incentives you are offering to Galaxy users. I feel like a second-class customer and I am losing respect for GOG/CDPR literally by the day.

We should never, ever bow to censorship or blackmail from a totalitarian dictatorship. Screw censorship. Screw the CCP. Screw Xinnie the Pooh. And, of course, screw DRM and any game that contains DRM (including Cyberpunk).

I will not be buying anything else from GOG in 2020. I may not buy anything again, unless I see a clear sign that GOG turns away from this misguided path.

Goodbye then, no one is going to miss you. Currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 without DRM (cause it has none)

Registered to GOG this month. Maybe your bot or is it really DRM free?

Did you seriously have to open a new thread? there are like 10+ threads about this topic....We had enough of cyberpunk threads this last week we don't need more...
EDIT: this does not only go to you but to the other people as well..

Perhaps there is a reason people are opening new threads?

I agree with you on the part about China but did you seriously just accuse Cyberpunk 2077 of having DRM?

Longtime user (to respond in advance to the Commie plants who question all new users): I am done with GOG over the censorship of the Taiwanese publisher. I have purchased dozens of games from GOG - no more. You'd think a Polish company like GOG that endured the ravagers of communism would have the backbone and decency to stand up to Beijing.

A sad day for intellectual freedom, GOG.

Much respect to anyone pulling out their support of this human rights and censorship complicit company. By all means, if you have a story to tell or want to signal boost your choice to leave, make new threads letting GOG know you don't support their spineless behavior. Anyone who has a problem with that, quite frankly can go fuck themselves. All it takes for evil to win, is good people to do nothing. And if you think it doesn't affect you, it will someday. When you don't speak for others when they lose their rights, who will speak for you when you are losing yours.

Hard to support a platform that cucks to Commies. Should have asked Xinnie for a bit of money on the side while you were at it maybe then you wouldn't have released a broken unfinished mess like Cyberpunk

I was hoping Cyberpunk would be fixed in time but I will not be buying it nor anything else on this store in the future. If China was threatening cyber attacks that would be one thing, but blacklisting a game and blaming it on "gamers" has to be the most insulting and dishonest thing I've heard from a company. Governments can have no authority over how games are made or how they can be sold and played in foreign regions. Shame on you, GOG!
can someone clarify DRM thing with CP 2077? I know game had Denuvo when they released it for reviewers. What's the status now? Can anyone confirm it is DRM free? or maybe it still has Denuvo?

Well it depends how you see it.. There are 3 t-shirts that are unlockable only if you link your gog accout to galaxy or something like that....For me it doesn't really matter But I can understand that a lot of people are angry...They might reconsider and add them maybe later as an offline installer who knows...maybe they will be included in the game of the year edition. Denuvo was only for review copies.

You left out the best part.
One of the T-shirts was a FCK-DRM T-shirt.

such an irony. even if Denuvo was for review copies only, how about that FCK-DRM sentiment? does it allow to use DRM in cases when you have to hide a wreck of a game from people? what purpose it served?
