Gog won't recognize game code when it clearly is. I just bought the f.... game. And yes, I clicked through the robot checker several fucking times.

When you buy games here they just get added to your library...
Where did you buy it? Hopefully not a shady 3rd party site...

This may sound like a stupid suggestion, but are you sure it is a gog game code?
From what I remember from purchasing digital games on Amazon, sometimes you had to use the code on Amazon to get the actual game code that you can then use (usually on Steam, but I guess sometimes on gog).

Why would GOG store recognise a key from Amazon? Did it say it was a GOG key on there? As far as I am aware Amazon is not a GOG key seller. I would clarify exactly what you have brought and for what store.

Well, wwhen I installed the game it also installed GOG Galaxy along with it. Quote: "GOG.com Game Code" Underneath is the number.

Can you post the amazon link to what you brought. I cannot find anything on amazon related to GOG or Galaxy. It’s very peculiar. Did you get asked to create a GOG account, put the code into the redeem page:

If it's telling you the code isn't recognized and not already used, make sure 1's vs I's and anything like that. So you bought a physical copy from Amazon that came with a GoG code. That makes more sense.

Edit: as a tip, if you can get your money back off the seller, buy the game directly here. It’s the same thing, but up to date with all patches, you can download it directly, and it will likely be cheaper especially if you get it on sale. You just missed the end of year sale where it was really cheap.
