rjbuffchix: Of course the workaround suggested would be to use the "optional" client instead in order to get what one paid for in a timelier fashion.

MarkoH01: Won't help you since even the galaxy version of the DLC is not updated. Right now Galaxy simply installs the base game, no matter if you own additional DLCs or not. The only DLC that is not outdated and working fine is the unrated DLC which I refer to as part of the base game.
I stand corrected. And yes I agree at Unrated DLC being part of the base game. Correct me if I'm wrong on this too, but I believe any of these games that have both "Standard" and "Unrated" seem to update together without issue; it is just the expansions/cosmetic content-type installers that are at issue.

I doubt that this is a general problem with such games but it sounds logical to me that even the devs who are responsible for the updates consider those unrated patches to be a part of the main game which maybe is the reason why these aren't outdated. On the other hand: I paid for the DLCs and therefore want to be able to play those as well. I already complained about this on their discord server. Not long ago they posted on their discord that they will have to talk to GOG before they can update the DLCs on GOG ... what for? They don't need GOG if they push their updates using the Galaxy API. So I posted them the GOG developer docs since they obviously don't know how to use GOG - but it would help if GOG talk to them as well so that such problems won't happen anymore in the future.

Ice_Mage: The chatbot is still in place because it's being tested until mid-2022.
While removing it is on the table, GOG have boasted that it successfully answers 40% of queries. So don't be surprised if it's declared a grand success and it's here to stay.
I absolutely doubt that - given the state this bot is in. The bot might have answered questions which are not worth mentioning in the first place but those who actually need support only GOG could give are left in the rain because the bot is too stupid to even collect the necessary information.

Takes them 2 months to address a ticket. Issue of competency and priorities.
Only hope is someone else fills the DRM free void, gog is not trending upwards in our favor.

I already told them I won't spend another dime until that stupid f'ing bot is gone, but why would they care.
my ticket from xmass sales still untouched :-\

just silly chat with a bot and then silence...

Agreed with all of this...I write to ask if you have received any updates yet? And I will say too that I really don't like how the customer has to end up chasing after various parties to get the game updated. I know "they already have our money" but that isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of customer care. It shouldn't be so hard to get what is rightfully ours. It also goes to show the conveeenience of Galaxy is vastly overstated as apparently there exist developers who are unaware they can push updates (GOG making sure the offline installers match the updated Galaxy versions is a separate issue). That could be fixed however, at least in theory, if like you say GOG would talk to them to make clear how things work.

Yes, the update was pushed today and the devs also just confirmed that the missing DLCs will come to GOG as well:
"Evil Support and Ukraine Support will soon be available (on gog)."

So we just have to wait a few days until the automatic installation of the offline installers. Btw: I finally found an official souce confirming that those offline installers in fact will be created automatically:

Thanks so much for the update. I cannot find it right now, but I believe I had read a staff post in the past on these forums saying that offline installers should be created automatically except that some aren't for some reason (unspecified, possibly even unknown...*gulp*) and need "extra help" on GOG's end, or some similar phrasing.

Same for me. Staff told me years ago but so far I never had any proof that this really is the case so I was glad when I found it in the official GOG dev docs as well for everybody to see. Some people might dislike Galaxy (and imo that is their good right, especially in cases when GOG forces them to use it to get certain benefits) but one good thing it brought was the fact that devs can use Galaxy API and offline installers will be created later automatically (if everything goes right). Unfortunately some devs still don't use the Galaxy API or don't know how to use it correctly though. GOG should contact their partners and ask them if they need help with this whenever it seems as if there are any update problems. Updating GOG according to GOG staff should be almost as easy as updating Steam.

Message one of the GOG staff (people with blue names) directly and they can get attention to your ticket. I've had to do that not too long ago and they were a great help.

The person I messaged was Framboos and they were very helpful in escalating my ticket. Someone else may be able to list other GOG staff here if you can't contact this person.

Question remains why such things even are allowed to happen ... and they are not rare at all. I tell it as it is: right now GOG support imo is a complete failure. They turned from being absolutely outrageous to almost inacceptable. I am also quite sure that those responsible for the downfall aren't the support people themselves but those making the wrong decisions (starting with dropping the "activities" feature and ending with "crapbot stupy").

Almost? I'm still waiting on a ticket from January 1st. I double-checked just now and the ticket is still open. I received only one reply on January 24th; it was a nice try, but didn't help.
Just email GOG Support directly to save yourself the hassle and frustration. That's what I did when I run into a very weird issue with a gift code I purchased during the 11 bit studios Red Cross promo.
