I can't log into my account GOG because I've lost access to my email. I have two-factor authentication set up.

How can I link a new email, technical support is ignoring me. Please advise.
You can't. The whole point of 2FA is to prevent others from changing your mail/password/etc. without having access to your mail account.

Only tech support can do that now and there will be a lot of hoops for you to jump through until you have sufficiently proven that you are indeed the owner of the account.

Thank you! I understand this perfectly, but technical support does not answer me. There is no one to prove. This is very strange on their part.
Hello Lagrange_point, I understand your problem is concerning.

However, the support seems to be taking too long to answer lately.

In conclusion, they are probably not ignoring you, they are just taking weeks to reply :

In advance, they are probably going to ask you to prove that you own your older account, do you have anything as proof? Such as past orders, payment methods used, last successful login, games purchased, etc.

Thank you friend! If this is the case, then let's hope for the best. Yes, and I can confirm all the actions and information you listed.

Will wait!

To which i'd expect support to take 3-6 weeks.

Yes, i'd think if payments can be confirmed to be from/connected to you, they could likely adjust the email account and force a password reset. Beyond that, i doubt it.

Wish you luck.

The funny thing is that replacing my email on Steam took me less than an hour.

All we can do is hope and wait. I have already given them the exact payment dates, down to the second, and transaction IDs, exact amounts, the last 4 digits of the card and a lot of other information, but we can only hope and wait!

I'd guess GoG is run barebones and has been for a while. A handful of people for handling tickets.

Then people get impatient and file more tickets for the tickets they hadn't gotten a response from making the problem worse because it won't make the tickets go through any faster.

Makes you wonder what part of the corporations of CDPR decided to do this, and how much it's damaging reputation and sales, since GoG lets CDPR keep all the sales from Cyberpunk and their own games, while Steam gets 30%. how many tens of thousands of keys were bought there because of slow tickets over here....

makes you wonder.
