I opended a ticket (#983638) for Steel Division 2 Nemesis #1 DLC.
GOG literally did nothing, had zero response, and then they sent a mail that asked me to close the ticket.
What the fuck!
Welcome to GOG support, where the tickets are made up and resolution statistics don't matter.

Look, if GOG can't even have enough self awareness to remove the demand to work in Poland for a California based position, do you think there's even a dull butterknife running the ship?
A dev asked me to open a ticket for a game that I couln't launch with Galaxy (Stasis), and they didn't know how to solve it. I haven't received an answer in more than one month. It's not so important for me, actually it would be in their interest to care about it, given that they want you to use Galaxy, but it fails to launch a GOG game.

Is that a Whose Line Is It Anyway? reference!?

Plus 300 cool points to you.
I opened a ticket (#853960) on Dec 12 about Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Modern Ships Pack DLC having disappeared from my library. Got the autoreply, and the next day an email saying that my ticket "is currently being processed, and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible." After that, complete silence, and the DLC has not returned to my library. Ticket status remains open on the support site.
Imagine an Earth-sized planet, mostly made out of gold, and two dwarves with pickaxes sent to mine it in its entirety - you'll get an idea of how GOG support has been operating since CP2077 launched. Your gold is being processed.

The ironic thing about this is you will no doubt receive a warning from support for your use of naughty swearsies before any other support.

Yep. Support is a lottery. Sometimes they respond quite fast. Or at least they used to. But recently they don't and sometimes they just close a ticket without actually having done anything about it. Happened to me too. Open another ticket and ask a blue to help. Via PM or by quoting one in the forum.
I agree, if they don't do anything to increase the staff, they will forever be inundated with tickets, and support will become effectively non-existent (a response after months is like never having received it).

Iirc, they get a tax break or other incentives if ALL paid workers live in Poland...so they likely want even those who do US BASED jobs to work there.

Crazy, I know....but with GOG little surprises me anymore.

About a month back I reported two users who were insulting the other users in a thread....staff's response was to chastise me for a lesser thing (replying to those users, albeit mostly to ask them to not be so rude in that thread) while saying they'd "look into it"(tm). They of course never modded those users or posts.
(I wonder if the fact that those rude users were supporting GOG at the time had anything to do with it? nahhhh)

Even with the new CMs(community mods) here(which they put in place, in part, to give them more time to do support) they still stayed more or less at the same pace.

GOG seems to always be one step behind in some areas, like: server load(they usually have site issues during very big releases or sales, like the 2077 release....even though it's happened many times before), moderation of the forums(they usually only mod a select handful of users, and don't watch the rest for the most part unless they get a report), and others.

Is your problem with the DLC is that it isn't showing up? I think instead of releasing it as a DLC they just integrated it into a patch since its a free one, and if that's the problem you might want to check the manage installation > configure option in galaxy, make sure everything is ticked off there.
Yeah, they are terrible overwhelmed, I think they are hiring more staff people but just in Polan, the good news is that they always respond the tickets no matter how many time has pass and always help you to resolve your problems, but I have to agree is quite slow lately, I mean...is understandable, is human work and I kind of prefer it that way, I had a terrible experience with a bot support in other store, and I lost so much money, for me is way better to wait and interact with a human. The good news is that your problem will be resolved as soon as they reply to you!!!
How come they asked you to close the ticket?

Truth007: How come they asked you to close the ticket?
Probably was the automatic reply, "if your problem is solved or you find the solution in the forum, please close this ticket"

Did you Verify the files?
Did you see if it wasn't running silently in the background as some of my games do that and I have to click on their icons on the taskbar to enable them
