kbnrylaec: GOG removed Softporn Adventure from my and many others' library last week.
Many people have filed tickets for the problem, but GOG just do not fix it.

When will GOG finally fix the bug?
1. within 24 hours
2. within 5 days
3. within 10 days
4. within 1 month
5. never
Give it half a year. Seems like they only deal with it if the whole forums goes ape shit about it.

UPDATE: Mine was missing I did account refresh and it came back. seems to be a glitch of it hiding? who knows. But it needs fixing.

This is the second time in the current week, that I've heard somebody mention this, so I finally decided to do a google search, even though it sounds to be nsfw. And it turns out this is actually a thing(wiki link). Somebody was courageous/out of his mind to market this.

Wiki quote: "The photographer was Brian Wilkinson... shot several dozen takes before arriving at the image finally used for the cover, but only a few of them still exist."

And why's that? I mean, we all know that Sierra did Leisure Suit Larry later on, which Softporn Adventure is basically the predecessor of. Sure, the title is more straightforward but is it really surprising that they would use such a descriptive one in the early days of computer gaming?

Also: you didn't mention the far more interesting fact about the game's cover that the girls were all people from Sierra and one of them was none other than co-founder Roberta Williams who also gave us King's Quest and Phantasmagoria. :D

Anyway: As expected this just seems to be a glitch and presumably everyone will get that game back if they haven't already. It certainly still is in my library.

Most amusing I found the wording from original article, which is linked in the wiki: " Diane Siegal, ...holds a half-eaten apple in a coy pun on Wozniak's forbidden fruit; in the middle Susan Davis, ...and on the right was Roberta herself, looking as if she had all eternity to meet your gaze"

The article also contains some extra pictures, just saying, we all know we'll go there for the article. ;)
