Voted, but a comical shame that they have rejected this.

I used to be hardline against buying things on Steam even before GOG, something about it rubbed me the wrong way and having an essential monopoly did not seem right either, so I kept with my CDs for a while.

Then came GOG which seemed neat, but once their "curation" got a bit out of control, I capitulated and now have a decent Steam library.

In the past year or so it seemed like GOG's curation got less obnoxious, but if they essentially rejected this, I guess that is not the case.

What a shame.

We need your help to bring on GOG the upcoming game Selaco, it's DRM-free and powered by GZDoom. To assist with that please:
1). Write / post something to keep this thread alive and seen for the others.
Example: "This game is DRM-free already, it should be available on GOG"

2). Vote in Wishlist (created by bilocation) so GOG Curation Team can see current demand

I sent a ticket to Technical Support and PMed GOG moderators to assist me with Selaco game approval by GOG Curation Team. Unfortunately they can't help with this and I was informed that they have sent my appeal to them however there will be no feedback. Meaning there is no way for an ordinary person to know what went wrong with Selaco submission form. Was it ignored, rejected, forgotten, something else? Who knows. That does not mean that we should take current situation as it is and do nothing, we can manage GOG to notice Selaco game. And Wesley de Waart might even send another request to GOG later on.

Thank you Cadaver747 for keeping this topic alive! I really want this game to come here and want to avoid that it slips through the cracks in the curation process.

I'm no authority on this, but apparently having a big/known publisher pushing the game on your behalf helps. Using the official game submission flow looks more like trying to enter through a back alley door...

I recived an answer from Zan (Hedon Dev) and he told me it took him some weeks to get approved. I hope Selaco Dev try again if he doesn't recive an answer!!!!
