Breja: If I know the GOG mods they'll ban someone, close the thread and remove the game's name from the thread's title just to be safe :D
Many GOG mods were very receptive and helpful to me previously so I wouldn't be worried about that. If for some reason they decide to terminate this thread so be it, it would mean that GOG is seriously against that game. I'd like to get a reason of course. For now I prefer to stay positive and hope for the best.

tfishell: I'd suggest messaging Support if you're especially enthused over this title...
I did just that, I mentioned it in post#13. More Support tickets might help of course, however I don't feel comfortable with increasing their capacity by creating duplicate tasks.

tfishell: Also, post about it on the r/gog subreddit.
I didn't know they are not affiliated with GOG, thanks to paladin181 I removed the link from OP post.

This game isn't even my genre and it looks like a lot of fun!
It's gonna be on Linux too, which I know people will appreciate.
Voted!!!!
Voted. I've been following this game for a while, and I'm really looking forward to the release. Linux support is greatly appreciated too, so this will be a day one purchase from me. Good luck on releasing it here. If not, I will buy it on Steam.

Cadaver747: Greetings fellow GOGers!

Sometime ago user AB2012 created a thread for the upcoming retro FPS game Selaco which is based on GZDoom and inspired by FEAR and Doom
From the pic alone it looks like something i'd be interested in. If GOG truly turned it down, I wouldn't be surprised...these days they seem to like/approve mainly games that look like they were made by/for tumblr users, games that tie into controversial current events, and etc.

That said, i'd love to see it here for myself and others to be able to have the chance to buy/play it, so i've enthusiastically added my vote to the wishlist.

I would actually, we have Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Strife and above mentioned Hedon. There is little sense to decline Selaco unless of course GOG staff wants to check out the Demo first. Anyway I hope to get some feedback from GOG representatives later this Monday.

Most of those titles have been very well loved/known for years(minus Hedon), unlike this new game.

(that said, I think they should add it as i'd love to get it & think it'd sell well enough)

If you do, keep us posted k?

So it is only logical for GOG to accept it, for the love of games. However love is illogical, what a twist.

Of course, that's why I'm here. I will not even consume any alcohol (excluding fresh apples and kefir) or smoke a single cigarette (consume any type of tobacco in any way) until GOG accept the game.

Breja gave their seal of approval, which given how persnickety towards titles they can be, that is a very good sign. Voted, but we're going to have to chable a talk to GOG.

Well, the curation team picks a number of the games GOG accepts/"loves", and we all know how their tastes seem to lean(as I said above).
Voted! This game looks awesome!

Cadaver747: Greetings fellow GOGers!

If any of you have Reddit account (I don't at the moment) you may post there as well something like:
"Please look into Selaco game submit request ID #1045501"
https://www.reddit.com/r/gog/
Don't post on the r/gog subreddit.
"This is an unofficial community for fans of GOG.com where users ask for help, discuss GOG in general, and find the latest info regarding GOG.com products and services.

We are not affiliated with GOG.com in any capacity. Any verified GOG.com employees that frequent the subreddit have a "Verified GOG.com Rep" user-flair."

realPhilSwitch: To quote what I said on the original thread:

"Message to the GoG intern they ordered to go through this thread:
Yes, we'd love to see this game on GoG. The game is DRM-free, done in a FOSS engine, coming to multiple OS-es.

The audience is here, we're just waiting for it's release, and hopefully it releases on GoG!"

and yeah. As the currently leading no-DRM platform, it'd be a great thing to see this game be available on GoG!
I can't say enough how much i wish devs would make another drm-free platform the leading one simply by preferring it instead.

Meant to recruit more votes towards the wishlist.

I put my vote in, good luck.
