It certainly was addicting, but I didn't like having the sale slowly grow over the course of 7-10 days, having to check all the titles in order to discover what was added. I prefer the complete sale announcements. For example I almost made a mistake last sale when I almost didn't get the DLC for Legends of Eisenwald, I think, only to have it later appear in a bundle with a completion bonus. Luckly GOG stealthily applied the completion bonus even though the bundle wasn't yet released.

Wonder why digital stores don't promote their upcoming sales. Retail stores promote sales to drive up interest. Wonder whats different about the virtual commodity space where they just kinda start them with no warning.

"Torment: Tides of Numenera" was available on gog connect and after I've signed in through steam, Torment has vanished from connect!

I didn't get an email announcement until well after the sale had already started. It is conceivable they would lose sales during that time window if customers bought elsewhere when the product they want is better and cheaper at GOG's secret sale no one knows about.

Weakly sales usually start each Monday at 11AM UTC, so expect the nex one in a little over 15 hours.

They also normally finish the next Monday at 11PM UTC, so they overlap during 12 hours with the new weakly sale.
