ciemnogrodzianin: It makes sense. And it's still a day before Steam Halloween Sale (starting Tuesday, 25th).
ciemnogrodzianin: It's true GOG tries to start earlier and avoid parallel events, but in some cases (as Halloween) it's simply impossible. For Christmas they just start 2-4 weeks before, call it Winter Sale and ok. But I guess starting Halloween sale in the middle of October would be weird. So thay can only go in parallel with Steam or pass.
If I were GOG I would start the sale this weekend.
It would not be the first time a big sale starts while publisher sales are still going on. Those publisher sales are just added to the big sale. In fact, it is a good way for some publishers to give their products more visibility before the big event starts. Also, some publishers decide to put their products on sale a few days after the start of the big sale to have some extra visibility. Bethesda does this, for example.
