This decision to remove a TOTALLY HARMLESS TWEET really crumbled my trust in GOG.
For once a GAMING service took the side of the GAMERS, their audience and the customers... only to pull back their punches when a regressive and venomous, truly bigoted (American?) gaming "journalists" upped the volume of their cries? Pathetic and disappointing.
No, GOG did NOT make a mistake with their Postal 2 tweet.
No, Gamergate is NOT a "hate campaign", not a "white supreemist movement", nor a "man club". See #NotYourShield.
It is a global movement that demands unbiased, objectively truthful and preferably non-political gaming journalism, and fights against BS anti-consumer activities in general.
The only reason GG is not "dead", like these journos like to report every other week, is simply because they can't accept their defeat, and cannot stop openly insulting the people they're supposed to represent, blaming something new on GG and "angry nerds".
Now, I'm not going to delete my account, at least not yet, but let it be heard that there are thousands, if not millions of normal people who are fed up with these regressive, venomous news outlets making us be the new Nazi party ... for just wanting to play video games in peace, with rest of the entire world ??
