Morolf, you're making your point and taking a stand for what you believe in. I agree with/admire that. I've done this kind of thing before on a different platform - but it didn't get me anywhere. People are people.

The one thing I have never done is ask a platform/store front for a game to be removed. Come on, you know that will go down as well as a sack of mixed dog poop.

Just chill. Be angry about it if you want, but then go chill with a beer. GOG won't remove anything they make money out of, and you know it.

Yeah, probably, I don't really expect them to. But I wanted to register my protest. At least they should think twice in future about accepting games of this kind on their store. They reject plenty of other games as well after all.

Get over yourself. Some games are more inherently political than others. Metal Gear, Papers Please, Final Fantasy 12, etc.

Completely agree. Even free "giveaway" games make them money. Anyone who doesn't see that is very silly.

I have to agree with the OP, I find this game to be in particularly poor taste and passed on attaching it to my account during the giveaway.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with riots. In fact the only people against them are normally the type who want people to have no freedom.

Naw. Instead somebody should make a game of similar quality that GOG accepts where you defend your family, neighborhood, and business (various scenarios) from rioter-looters and maybe during a Civil War II. Nobody would mind that even if they don't agree with the politics, right? Since nobody is forcing you to buy or accept this and nobody would force you to buy that? I'd prefer a more open store. :)

My idea: a game where no-good-nik rioters get arrested by the cops....maybe made in the art style of the judge dredd comics.
