Ok my bad I did misread your comment. I did not judge when I read I did not see the quotations when you said "muh freedom of speech people".

Let's ban all games where one or both sides gets shot. Let's ban fighting games, too. Why not ban visual novels, since those only attract perverts? Can't have anyone being violent or "playing" one-handed. Text adventures have to go, also. Words are bad and hurt people. Might as well get rid of any game where someone loses. Losing makes people feel bad. Just make all games award a participation trophy/achievement for starting the game and then roll credits. There could be a huge cinematic "You win!" and then another achievement, after that.

Doesn't all of that sound fun?

Right, the same line moral crusaders have always used: video games are murder simulators that award you for killing people and turn you in to a psychopath.
If you can't distinguish a video game from real actual actions, I suggest you don't play any. Or read any books. Or watch movies.
Which war themed games do you want to remove from GOG? They are trying to make toppling governments, destroying property, and wanton murder seem fun and playful.
Or is it just this one game you oppose because it happens to clash with your particular ideas?

Well, Morolf is the creator of this thread, and most people commenting here have been hostile to my proposal, so the "free speech crowd" you mentioned seems to only exist in your imagination.
And it's not a conspiracy, the intention behind this game is pretty transparent after all. It's propaganda intended to make political violence look fun and legitimate.

As a tourist in a pre-coronavirus reality, I have visited a museum of collected artworks created by political prisoners. What I can say is that it was art, like any other, and whatever you saw was created in your own mind.

Even if what you say is true, this remains a game and should be treated as such, unless it becomes linked to a radical group that goes outside the rule of law.

Fair enough. I don't think anyone's missed your point, however most of the people don't agree with it. And I believe we're all fully using our mental capacities, yourself included.

Political propaganda games of ANY kind shouldn't be sold on Gog imo. This would be in line with the ban on political discussions in the forum (which I generally support).

The problem with what you are saying is that it is very hard to define what is what when fictional worlds are involved. What you see is not what everyone sees. "Clear political propaganda" may be lost on eyes that simply do not care, expect politics in a game, nor are influenced by it.

Where do we draw the line? Does The Witcher promote anti-globalization because it depicts Nilfgaard as a conquering empire that refuses to let other be? Perhaps.

If the link you want to establish is though affiliation, as in what the devs think politically, well, we should ban all games. I don't think this is what you are saying, but I have to ask: if the same devs made an entirely non-political game, would you be OK with it being sold here, considering their political inclinations?
