Marioface5: Throwing a temper tantrum and harassing GOG on Facebook isn't going to help you with them, and it isn't going to make your case seem any more convincing with us. When I see someone behaving like you are, my first instinct is to think that you're in the wrong, rather than GOG. Take a deep breath, relax, and post the contents of the emails. If you're going to claim that GOG is going against their own return policy, you have to at least try to provide some evidence.
Before seeing the emails, I will ask this just to be safe: When downloading the game, did you choose the Mac installer? It looks like you're new to GOG, so accidentally downloading the Windows installer could be a simple mistake. If you didn't manually choose what OS installer to download, then you probably have the Windows one.
sjleader: Like I said. For the first week, I was polite, and gave them a chance. Its only when they decide to screw me that I get pissed. And my only recourse is to "throw a temper tantrum" because if they won't refund me than I am going to make damn well sure that as many people as possible see it so if even ONE person decides not to buy anything from them, my work is done. These people should understand that by igorning me it will only cause them bad publicity. All they have to do is follow their own written policy and issue the refund.
Yes, I used the mac installer.
Maybe you should stop throwing a temper tantrum and give them another chance? Because did they really decide to screw you or were they just being incompetent? It sounds like, they just failed to provide you with decent support. I don't think they were purposely trying to screw you over so they don't have to give you back $6. If you could them another chance, I'm sure, you will get your money back eventually. If their intent was to screw you over, then I totally agree with your actions but I highly doubt that was their intent. GOG has given refunds to other people who were entitled to them, why would they refuse to give you one for no good reason?
