ITs been 2 weeks. Countless emails back and forth saying the same thing over and over again.
Game didn't work. I deleted it. Asked for a refund, end of story. I answered their questions, and now they are ignoring me.

I have harassed them on Facebook, still no reply.

Issue me my damn refund!
I doubt the harassing helps.

Well, if they refuse to communicate then I will make sure as many people as possible think twice before giving them any more money. I asked nicely, three times. They are choosing to be dicks. So now I will be a bigger dick... All they have to do is simply issue me a refund, per their own published policy, and I will go away and never have anything to do with them again.

Your giant e-peen both impresses and terrifies me.

You are aware that GOG doesn't issue refunds for game not working, unless they can't get it to work for you, right? The answering of questions should be a big back and forth with suggestions trying to get the game to work. Since you said you deleted the game, I guess there wasn't any of said back and forth going on. Was there?

Supposedly size doesn't matter...

Indeed, it is said that what matters is how you use it, not how big it is.

Their suggestions didn't work. So I deleted the game, and told them I did so. After 5 days (because they only send one email a day) of back and forth. I had to tell the guy 3 frikkin times I was on a MAC. He kept telling me to do windows stuff. I kept saying, "I am on a mac, clearly you aren't reading my emails." At which point I said to just issue the refund and lets move on.

This is purely about principal. If they responded to email quickly and we could have worked it out, great. BUt the fact that each email was from a different person who clearly didn't read the previous ones-- that frustrates me and shows they don't give a Sh&T about their customers. Proven by the fact that now they are simply ignoring my requests.

So, all I am left with is to give them negative reviews all over, post on their page, and basically annoy the crap out of them until they comply with their own policies.

If my rant causes even one person to chose not to buy from them, then I am successful.

Or GOG-- you can issue my refund and I will delete all this and move on.
I want to see some of the "countless emails".

If they reply with something along the lines of "Try this..." and you replied with "Fuck you, I'm not going to try that. I want my money back!" then I'm afraid you have violated your end of the return policy at which point GOG doesn't owe you shit.
EDIT: Never mind

Interesting. Is the game supported on Mac? If so, then they really do need to get this right, it's ridiculous to be giving advice on fixes for a completely different OS.
ALSO

I want to know the game and your OS. If the game description clearly states your system may not run it, then it's your fault for buying it. I've been guilty of that myself and I didn't get on GOG for it because it was my bad.

This is a beautiful response, lol. Sadly, I only occasionally come on the forums to read "no bullshit" replies. If only everyone had that attitude, ha.

Maybe you should read the post above yours before assuming that the customer was raging and GOG support was faultless. Telling a Mac user to try Windows based solutions is ridiculous to say the least and is ofcourse going to be extremely annoying.
