Anyone have a clue why GOG refused to sell Aurion? Devs say they submitted it to GOG, but were refused for some unknown reason.

The game on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/368080
The question is why did they put their game on Steam, as so very few africans use it.
I guess GOG is only an afterthought, they should have asked far earlier.

I would like the game on GOG yes, for at least I could play this game that I had backed in KickStarter...
They had hidden the fact that their game would only be on Steam...
Never heard of it, but it looks pretty cool overall, apart from the combat which unfortunately looks awful.
At least you can get it DRM-free at Humble, unlike my pet peeve rejection Gemcraft.
Because of the very appropriate metacritic score ;).Nah just kidding.I guess it's just too niche for GOG... Cheers

Have you a link for the DRM-free version on Humble? Just had a look and it appears to be Steam only :(
As far as I know, GOG gives a detailed response when they reject a title.
I know that a dev said "for some unknown reason", but I don't think GOG's response was just "nope".
Maybe they don't want to share the reason, which is totally cool.

It is indeed Steam-only on the Humble Store, but it was offered DRM-free in the recent Humble Jumbo Bundle 8. Probably yogsloth was thinking of that.
Wishlist entry: Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan
Maybe more votes will change GOG's mind.
I would be happy if they just put it drm-free on humble. I have it on my wishlist there just in case the drm status changes, but it almost never happens in humblebundle.

At this point I just don't care all that much about GOG anymore. Unfortunately, for some games to be drm-free, it's GOG or nothing, as they don't put their drm-free elsewhere anyway.
Probably because it looks like a cheap mobile game and they think no one would want it.

Ah, indeed. Lucky me - I got a DRM-free copy AND NOBODY ELSE CAN HAVE IT Muah ah ah ahaha hahaHAHA!
We ..ehm.. clearly have to many ..ehm.. JRPG (style) games on GOG (D*#$ you GOG curators :) ).

Ah well. This promises to be a great PC JRPG year. Unfortunately that is on Steam.
