First players are assigned to town or mafia.
Then the 2 mafia players choose a PR for them. And all players vote for town PRs.
Then PRs are assigned randomly.

So yes, when voting for town PRs, players know which side they're on. In addition to that, mafia know what role they chose.

Hm. Not sure how I feel about joining a game where I can't shoot someone. I suppose knifing people might be an option, though.

That's 9 players. Protesting players, perhaps, but still players.

I'll get things rolling, but mafia will have a couple of days to discuss their PR. Once that's been decided, I'll start Day 0.

Did you mean to ping me? I'm not playing, but I guess you might have wanted to send me an observer thread link. My PM settings are completely open though. As I seem to be unable to start a conversation with you it does seem like it might be your privacy settings.
