I'm only semi-hopeful about next week. Best not to count on me just yet. But if I think I can swing it, and if the game hasn't filled up before then, I'll do my very best to let you know by Saturday.

So does the game start as soon as/the same irl day as all players are signed up/everyone gets their PMs, or is there a set date when it will begin?

It will likely start within an irl day or two from when slots fill. ZFR will announce it.

there will be a new topic made, and the host of this game will--within the first few posts--say something to the effect of "you may begin posting".

This is also good info but Bookwyrm better answered what I was asking imo....as I wanted to know whether or not the game would sytart after slots filled up or whether a set date would be picked/had already been picked for such.

To complicate it a bit, the answer wyrm gave applies to this game. ZFR is trying to run a particular setup that requires 13 players specifically.

So he either needs 13, or else select a different setup altogether.

In other games, it can be more open-ended and the mod may swing either way on whether timeframe or headcount is more important to them.
