I played in that game. Somehow it wasn't quite as much fun as one would have hoped.

That's certainly a Thing for mafia games.
Change your avatar in the usual fashion, and then make a blood sacrifice of three chickens and a party hat to the GOG technical gremlins and the avatar should show up anywhere from 24 hours to six months from now.

Sorry to hear about Voxx, ah well.

Now you know why some of us wept tears of joy at that MU software.


Oh, and you'll want to install adalia's script. It makes the software at least bearable. Adds an ISO function, a pretty top-shelf thread search, and a few more options.

Somebody more helpful than me will probably post a link.

Because I would freaking love to use the MU software. But I think you need special permission to run games there AND you have to know what you're doing.

And I'm not sure all the GOGers would be willing to register over there.

At the risk of putting my foot in my mouth since it's been a while since I talked to Thingyman about it, you really don't.

I hosted one of the hydra games; it's super easy. It would be all custom for you anyway; just set the modbot to not reveal flips on death, and you can run it like a regular game where you post flips and flavor and everything. Just use the modbot to do VCs, deadlines, all that jazz.

I know on FantasyStrike, when it was shutting down, Thingyman told us we could host games on MU without anything special needed, no problem.

Just a thought, because the interface really is like night and day.
