I see where you're coming from and maybe it was better for me not to mention it if I can't say what it is, but why is it scummy as hell? I do have a meta reason but saying it could help mafia a lot. Anyway I'm not asking nor expecting anyone to blindly believe me.

The issue is not you having a meta reason you don’t want to share, the issue is saying you have a meta reason and not divulging it. Keep it to yourself that you have a meta reason if you don’t want to share it. By saying you have a reason but not wanting to share means you can vote someone without justification, and that’s something scum would do.

Sorry I haven't been active today. Been out of the house until now (Just a bit over 22:30) and I'll be heading to bed again soon. I agree that I should have just kept my mouth shut if I have a reason but can't divulge it. But I disagree with the last statement. No semi-intelligent scum would vote someone without justification. Nor say "I have a reason but I won't tell" and expect to get away with it. Any scum worth his salt would have a justification, whether good or bad, for his vote.

By my logic they needn't be scum. "Needn't be scum" is not equivalent to "must be town". Not-scummy is not equal to towny. It could be NAI.

I feel like you have answered your own question here, but for the record with my words: I've been self-aware of my flavour attitude from the beginning, and Damn's riffing off toaster/pylon in defence (so I saw it) of flub's avatar rubbed me the wrong way waaaaaay back in #103. My comment on the Gogfather murder was just that, a comment, and I specified in that same post (#58) that I had no idea if it was worth pointing it out but couldn't help but notice it. It was so early it was part of my scrabbling for a way out of RVS. And neither of those two things have affected my reads of anyone (Damn is in fact one of my towniest reads at the moment).

I forgot about it in the panic to catch up with 12 people making over 100 posts, to be completely honest, but with the way you phrased the question my response either way is sheer WIFOM..!
To answer the original, for what it's worth: I read sharing reads on everyone freely, à la Joe, as town because it leaves a clear paper trail of suspicion pattern and indicates independent thought is going on about every player, rather than sliding along with whatever wagon is moving.

And in #321 I asked you what you made of my case, and I don't think you replied... you just changed your vote. It's like... "oh my goat you prodded me in a sore spot so I'll do what you asked so that you stop so there :P now what?" [interpolated].

I'm in a funny position here, both SPF and Wyrm are accusing me of being scum with the other one. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right....

Distancing from Bookwyrm (who I think is scum), the buddying is with Bler (who I do not currently think is scum). They're different people, but I understand toasters have trouble distinguishing humans.

I agree, it is amusing that both my and Wyrm think you're scum with the other one.
