Giving people a post restriction for making honest mistakes that dont affect gamestate is power tripping.

I've been reading some people during the night and sharing reads and commentary with Frostburn. Nothing conclusive though.

See that MARKED BY YOG thing? Koba was punished to post a song/music name and the singer/composer/etc in every single post of theirs. By day end they failed to do that, and got modkilled. Yes, it's as ridiculous as it sounds.

It's also interesting that even though DkKoba was mod killed on day 1 that the role hasn't been revealed. It makes me wonder if he was either mafia or town with a significant role.

The modkill has thrown a wrench into the works. Some of my questions overnights could've been answered if their flip was public information. But since nothing was revealed, everything about them and their interactions with other players have been black holed. Which is honestly very frustrating in a social deduction game.

Double-posted a few times and got a first-timer warning. Then did it again and got a punishment under threat of getting mod-killed. Then failed to comply with that punishment in their final few posts so the mod-kill threat came into effect.

In case you have missed it Ambiti0nZ is also suffering the same punishment at the moment. So far he has managed to survive it.

I'm not a huge fan of the lack of flip. Whatever DK's alignment, the lack of flip leaves the mafia with information and the town without (and no mechanic to get that information, unlike living players who can still be flipped).

So yeah, not only does Koba get punished for culture clash (where they come from they're able to spam their thoughts without waiting ten minutes) and has a sour taste in their mouth which is...well, pretty not nice for the already small and tight GOG Mafia community, but also Town gets punished for that culture clash.

I understand there has to be punishments and warnings for unwanted behavior, but I still believe that's a step too far for what it was worth. Great, that's all I can think about at the moment, not the game, not who the scums, but the modkill.

When I said that it's interesting, I mean interesting by its definition of "arousing curiosity or interest" but saying that, we don't need to waste time speculating on if DK was mafia or not.

Assuming that there would be only three mafia in a 12-player game, all we need to do is correctly lynch one mafia to figure out DK's alignment.

If the next lynch is a mafia and the game ends, then DK was mafia because there wouldn't be any mafia left to continue the game If the game continues, DK was town.

It's most likely three mafiosos yes. Y'know, the 25% rule. The problem is in hunting down that second mafioso. With a flip on DK we'd have an idea if some of the people interacting with Koba have ulterior motives or not, but since there's no flip... Yeah, I think Day 2 will be another Day 1 if we can't get any new leads out of scene.

Which by the way isn't looking too swell for Joe. During the whole game, he seemed to give go like "is this town scene? yeah this is town scene," simply because scene appeared to be self-reflecting this time around. But on the other hand, I'm still in disagreement over lynching the Lovers at the moment.
