OK. This puzzles me, how have I forced you into a claim? I haven't forced you to do anything! Your claim was entirely unnecessary.

The thing about Lovers, as you describe them further below, is that they often are across factions. So the fact that someone is your Lover doesn't mean that they are of the same alignment as you. If you are scum, you probably know the alignment of your Lover. If you are Town you have no way of knowing ... and should your Lover be Town too, you have just given Scum the opportunity to kill two Townies with one NK. So your claim was very rash. Let's hope that one of the two of you is Scum. Otherwise you have just, without any reason, sacrificed Joe along with yourself to Scum.

Meanwhile, I don't want to do scum's work for them, in case both you you are Town.

Catv is way too zealous about not having Joe lynched to anything but savior. At the very beginning of the game he immediately tries to shine badly on the person voting Joe, yet he does not display the same zeal to defend himself.

I'm more familiar with some of the roles by different names or working completely different.

I originally misread it as being like a different role that I'm more familiar with called Unrequired Lover as the description text was pretty much what we used for that role.

The one called Loves was always Town-Town and had night actions based on the idea that the two character roles were always sneaking off to each other's house for steamy love making. They had night communication and had a night action where they would decide which of their house they would be at each night. This meant that if someone with a night kill role targeted one of them but they were at the other's house, the kill attempt would fail.


You do know that you could have said that we had a Babysitter relationship. If the Babysitter is killed, so is the person they're babysitting. Although you guys probably don't use the babysitter role in the same way and therefore would never have thought of it.

However since your role is Madame Razz and have come out of the closet, there is no sense in denying that you are my lesbian lover and girlfriend for this game only.

Did you miss that both Catv and Joe claimed to be Lovers? If we lynch Joe, Catv dies too.

I still have you as scummy. But I don't want to sacrifice Catv on a hunch. If you are a mixed-alignment lovers pair, we'll have to kill you both at some time. But that's not a given yet. Town-Town lover pairs are possible. Even Scum-Scum pairs are possible, but unlikely in such a small game. Since it would hamper scum tremendously (no bussing, lynch of one kills the other too...) and the scum team is small anyhow. So I would exclude a scum-scum Lovers pair for balancing reasons. But scum-town have happened around here. I was the town part of one in one of the previous games.
