I would prefer if we lynch Microfish for my reasoning in Post 195 above. We can both bring Microfish to L1 and someone should hammed today

My reasoning for not voting Yogs, is I don't think he role claimed. I could be wrong though, here's my reasoning from an earlier post. 1 thing I did not factor in however to this post is Yogs claims to have read the flavour but not the set up:

Re-reading Day 1, and I am wondering if the Yogs situation isn't a misunderstanding. Because he doesn't necessarily role claim, having said that, I'm not completely happy with his effort in defending himself and working out the game.

See below whether you think he's genuinely role claimed or NOT:

Yogs says:

'Since Pooka made it so utterly obvious in the flavor text that I have a thing - who wants to start guessing what my thing does?'

In the flavour Pooka writes that Yogs is the owner of a flight simulator.........................Yogs then says when :

Was it a role claim? Was it some other kind of shenanigans? What was I doing?

Just trying to get people to out of RVS and start asking questions.

Then Yogs elaborates

"hard to believe" or no, that's what it was.

What kind of role would a flight simulator machine have provided? Commuter? I don't know either, but I wanted to find out! I never like early Day 1 blah blah blah and I would always rather kick over a table and make a scene.

When I last made my post I stated that you have been evading your questions. By that time you have churned about 20, or so, posts. In one of those you stated:

If anything - it shows dedication, be you mafia, or be you townie. It would also, somewhat, explain your presence of mind.

Now that you have answered most of everything what was thrown at you - there is still one piece you have not.
In your defense - seeing how many things were thrown at you - it is understable how you would have missed this part.
(What is interesting, though, is that joppo never seemed to refer back to this part.)

I also can't think but wonder if this part:

Carries the subtext that maybe we shouldn't yeet anyone at all then.

Then there is your vote for Lift and this part:

What scene had done just the RL night prior was to search for an alternative angle... and cast a vote on MrKrabs.
I'm not sure how him looking for alternative options can be seen as ''just not enough''.

As to why it took so long for me post anything again:

I had you, just like Catventurer, tunnel-visioned. I saw no need to comment on anything what others had already commented. In short - I had nothing to add. This also means that I didn't pay as much attention as I maybe should have to others... (I will get back to this at the end of the post though.)


Then there is the fact that it is very close to the weekend. (You do know - the holiday that falls on the weekend.)
The week after Christmas - I have a week off...

I do not agree with the ''voting on me, then voting on Yogs part'', but scene does make the interesting point that MrKrabs did some hopping back and forth.

The fact that scene even casted a vote is also interesting.

After this part scene removes his vote from MrKrabs and places one on micro.

I don't think you understood me. Yes, it's more than obvious that every vanilla townie is Town; that's actually a tautology. I'm not discussing the role's alignment but the player's.
Let's suppose ZFR is the FN. He is, obviously, a townie, in fact he couldn't be anything else as this role is exclusive to townies. Now suppose ZFR uses his night action to have JoeSapphire learn he is town. What does that say about Joe's alignment? Nothing. The fact that he was the target of this action does not mean he can't be scum. At most it means ZFR thinks Joe is probably Town. Every other townie out there can't just say that now it's fully settled that Joe is Town.

Since chances of a positive answer are low I will take a closer look at Lift because we've all been way too focused on Yog and I'm not convinced he is scum.

Yes and I think I've already explained it through my posts. I thought Cat V fell into my trap of voting for me on Day 1, hence I suspected her. Since then she's been the most analytical player and pretty much proved Yogs was very likely Scum if he indeed did role claim. But the thing is I'm split on whether he roleclaimed or not.

No there isn't time to build a wagon on me. I could also easily hammer Yogs but I want to see if we can build a majority wagon on Microfish, who has had 3 people vote on him on Day 2 so is a viable candidate.

Lift getting lynched is unlikely, he's only got votes from the 2 most voted for players after all.

As the thread is pretty inactive and there doesn't seem to be movement to Microfish's wagon, I'll probably hammer in the next 30 minutes

The difference is that I really do believe that Yog was setting up a role claim. All those replies that came off as flippant and evasive have only made me increasingly convinced that he is the mafia rolecop.

I've been thinking that Micro is the mafia goon, but....

Joppo's votes have been total WTF moves. It's like he is intentionally not voting to win, like on Day 1 when he voted for maxloed after he was already hammered by someone else. Now he's voting for Scene when absolutely nobody is going to vote against Scene. That's a total throw away vote right there. There's also that post I made yesterday that were I was essentially shouting at the Friendly Neighbor, "Don't use your night action on joppo" because he was giving me weird feels.

When I consider that in the last game Sage was giving me all sorts of weird feels while I was campaigning to get mafia Pooka lynched, I'm revising my opinions here:

Yog = mafia rolecop
Joppo = mafia goon
Micro = neutral vanilla

If I'm wrong on Joppo, it is only that he's the neutral vanilla.... but if he is, I think he is a neutral vanilla that decided to ally with mafia on Day 1 and was never on town's side.

However as things stand, Yog has 4 votes, Micro has 1, and Joppo has 0.
I see no need for me to move my vote at the moment to either MIcro or Joppo, and I'm not switching my vote to Lift, Scene or anyone else.

Well @Yog: getting an answer now would be just as good.

I'm not convinced that that change was natural. It was kinda extreme... it's not that she didn't deserve Town Points for her posts in the beginning of D2, in my opinion she actually did. It's that she started way too low to climb so many positions that fast.
So either you had everyone's reads so clse to each other that just a few points could move a player from an extreme to the other, or you awarded her infinite townpoints for her work like you're Dumbledore and she is Griffyndor. Like I said she did earn the towny points between those points, due to her questioning of Yog. But so many so fast? Did she get a cop result of "scum" while I wasn't looking?

I suppose you're right that there's no time to switch to you tho. If we are both alive toMorrow I'll watch you closely.


Wrong, actually. I don't mean to keep my vote on Scene as much as I expect to have us revise the possibility of a Yog lynch AND state my suspicion of Scene AND gauging the general feel over a lynch of Scene. But since I'm online I can see he's not getting lynched toDay and I can switch to Micro as needed. Not that I am fully certain Micro is scum, but more than I am of Yog.

Vote Yogsloth - this should be hammer. I don't want to get too tired where I forget to change my vote, which happened last game when the Day end was too late for me. If I changed my vote to Sage we actually would of won that game. She partly managed to appeal to emotion with me too though.

Let's discuss your scenario where Joppo is Scum team. I agree I did find the late post by Joppo suspicious. Yet I've done the same as Town, when not seeing the latest posts.

But why wouldn't a Scum Joppo not want to be on Yogs wagon? Scum Joppo looks better on shipping his scumbuddy. Maybe it's because Yogs is actually Town and Joppo doesn't want to look like Scum so he puts himself on a none Town wagon. Ofcourse if Joppo is Scum he doesn't know if Yogs is Neutral or Town, he could be either from his POV. He could be Town and find me more scummy. But if Yogs and Joppo are both scum, Joppo has made a big mistake in how he looks to everyone if he doesn't bus Yogs imo

If you are Town, you did a very poor job of explaining yourself. I did a far better job of defending yourself than you ever managed. Why am I doing your job for you? As soon as someone was interpreting you as role claiming you needed to say - no that's untrue I was talking about Pooka saying I'm the guy with the flight simulator. It really wasn't clear enough and I tracked back to try and help.

I also preferred lynching Microfish over yourself and he was the most obvious wagon you should have taken. He's not looked credible and he's the strongest viable wagon. There was a potential 4 votes on Microfish if you add your vote.

You also jumped on a wagon against Lift, who looks better to most of us than Microfish, which is obvious. Lift could be scum too ofcourse. But I think you have to be a big tactical and not lump yourself with your strongest lynch candidate.

Anyway not all is lost if you are Town, we have 2 Scum, 1 neutral and 3 Town. So there is a chance of a win still.

I tend to think the day should be extended by say half a week. If Pooka wants to freeze it so everyone gets equal time that's also fair enough.
