I also noticed, even before I was asked to sub in, that Joe claimed to have followed Telika.
We know that Joe wasn't tracking anyone so I wondered if he would have chosen a teammate or a townie that could say he was right.
I don't think he would risk tying himself to a teammate so early. Most likely, the third scum has some PR that could discern that Telika had not moved that night. Possibly this third scum is a rolecop or an actual scum tracker.
Anyway this train of thought gives Telika town points in my eyes. I already had an impression of Telika being town due to her content from previous days.

Makes me concentrate on Lift and Dedo, and Dedo seems the better choice. I won't vote him now because the Day is still early, he'd be at L-1 if Telika's vote had counted and he should have the opportunity to claim. And we didn't have input from Catte.

Should we do that mass claim that yogs talked about after dedo claims? (If he wants to claim) Is that still beneficial for Town? Or is it unnecessary at this point?

Oh, this is back sooner than I thought.

I haven't read the bulk of it but it's not important right now. I'm pretty sure I know where this is headed and that's mostly fine as this should be harder to lose now. So I'll just write a few things before the day is cur short by eager Townies and remaining scum.

1. All points assume there are no mod shenanigans - bastard stuff and other gimmicks that are borderline bastard but technically aren't.

2. I assume the Tracker was a fake claim provided by Pooka.

3. We have 2 confirmed Townies - Yog who is an uncontested Mason and Catte who is confirmed by Town Cop Atlo.

4. There is 1 scum left which means we are ahead and can afford 1 mislynch before LYLO.

5. If Joe flipped another Godfather I would have likely turned my eye on Catte but since Joe was just a super sexy Goon I don't think there are any extraordinary shenanigans. Last scum is probably some mid-level PR or just a Goon.

6. Telika is the strongest/loudest driver of my wagon and has been all game long but ironically I think he's probably the least likely scum after the "confirmed" Townies which are Catte and Yog.

6.1) @Telika, this point is explicitly for you. You have been having a very severe form of tunnel vision whole game. I have a bunch of friendly memes prepared to shoot your way but I can't do so before the game ends and I know what your true alignment is. I don't want to embarrass myself by making fun of you only to turn out that the whole thing was well calculated scum aggression in which case - well done. That's why I'll wait for the game ending BUT I'll count on you as a gentleman and a scholar to say in your next post after my flip the line

8. Out of the 2 Lift seems like the better choice. He's doing exactly what scum Lift would be doing right now - going with the flow when he knows a mislynch is coming. I haven't went back to check wagon positions but I have the feeling that Lift will be the one who always have joined scum wagons later or not at all. CatV on the other hand voted Joe that one time without being aware he was on the brink and it took me to ask stepping back because he had uncontested role claim. That would mean that either CatV was already aware of this from scumchat and was willingly taking part in a potential bussing or just didn't know better.

9. I actually have 1 point that could work in favor of CatV being the last scum but I don't like it and I refuse to consider and rely on it, so yeah. I'd say consider Lift.

10. I probably can point out stuff that I did or said that make no sense coming from scum but I don't feel like wasting my time and I don't disagree that with targeting me right now as we should be able to afford it.

11. Take your time and don't rush the next Day(s) - in terms of numbers the game favors us right now so it's on the Town to snatch defeat from the claws of victory.

12. Telika or Catv - if one of you is Neutral know that right now it's easier for you to win with Town rather than with scum.

Yeah, no. Joe doesn't look that good anymore after the Cop came out so this can be easily scum!Lift doing pre-emptive damage control. He doesn't burry anything on his own. If that's the only thing you have in his defense you should probably focus there Tomorrow and see what he'll try to lie and squirm about. I'm actually interested to see how he'll try to get out of that situation. Unless he has something up his sleeve like a double tap or 1-shot Lynchproof or whatever that can take him through one mislynch it seems like a deadend to me. I see that Lift has brought the mass claim back up. I see no reason why that should be done before lynching me if he's so sure I'm the last mafia. That's scum looking for as much information as possible and a way out.

@dedo: I like it that you go down fighting. But really, it's you or me today and frankly, while I do prefer lynching you and probably ending the game, I would also be fine with the me first, then you, approach. Even if you manage to turn everyone else around and shift today's lynch to be, as long as you then are tomorrow's lynch, I will still win, assuming that you are scum.

How about that: we lynch you Today and should I really be wrong about you, I'll volunteer to be the lynch Tomorrow and let Catv or Telika take a well earned win home. But I am reasonably sure that it won't come to that because the 'lynch you first' approach will end the game.

I'm not going down fighting :) For the first time in my mafia career I'm in a unique position where I'm targeted for a lynch and I don't want nor need to do anything about it as the numbers are stacked in my favor. There is no need for me to try and turn anyone around. When I said I'm available for a discussion I don't mean I want a podium to plead my innocence. I mean that my insight may be still be of value to someone and if that's the case I'm here.

It's possible. I also suspect that my day 1 bait was a tad too transparent. I had dared mafia to lynch me, just to gratuitously add a bit of wifom conundrum to their deliberation, but they possibly immediately dismissed it at "oh look, a vanilla townie" - either that or maybe it did indeed attract an investigation of theirs. In fact, right at the beginning of day 2, Cat mentioned that vanilla's function was to bait night kills, which I half-interpreted as a possible message from the mafia ("yeah, we saw what you did, Tel").

So I'm genuinely curious to know, post-game, if it was a somewhat daring guess of his, or an investigation result, or a super obvious deduction.

Speaking of which :

I file this under your own usual appeals to emotion (one reason why I think your scum flipping will be hilarious, it would make your accusation/warning to Cat so fantastically cynical) but you're aiming at the wrong one, I'm not big on pride. I'm ready to laugh about my conviction of your scumminess (I imagine how irritatingly dumb it could sound for a townie, and the thought makes me laugh out loud regularly). But still, I suppose you're aware that Lifth has left the field of my day 1 "tunnel vision", and also that, since, my focus was on a scum trio which has proven 2/3rd correct so far. So, I don't take your "lol what a total dumbass" statements that seriously - they can be manipulative if you're scum, and they can be tunnel visionney themselves if you're town.

But also, I honestly think that forum mafia is more a game of luck than a game of deduction (and possibly wouldn't function as a game if it wasn't the case). I don't think there's enough difference, in life and in the game, between someone who's wrong by mistake and someone who's wrong on purpose. That's why I enthusiastically co-lynched Frost, believing he was bluffing even after the vote count was reached. And why we didn't wagon Scene. And the Joe/Buck/Ded trio was initially defined by process of elimination more than by gotchas.

So, just as I still don't consider that Frost's lynch was (or Scene's lynch would have been) absurd, I think you're the most obvious rational bet for a lynch. The most likely between Catv, Lifth, Catte and Dedo. By elimination, and for all the (possibly spectacularly confirmation-bias-induced) circumstantial evidence. Which at no point you've acknowledged as making you look bad.
