I've only played three games with him. I'd say that if you look at Frost and are feeling an urge to start a lynch mob, you really should set the rope down and think about it. He's exceptionally adept at making himself look guilty and distracting people's attention away from the actual mafia while being town-aligned. Saying that, I'll have to admit to having been roped into his town posing as mafia game more than once now.

Since I've said all that, I'm going to add - great news. Our Frosty seems wacky as usual. Town maybe?

I'm not treating it as a serious vote. Just noticing that it is a convenient way to avoid attention during RVS.

I think the reason we clash is that you seem to take everything as serious hardcore business at all times during the game, while I treat all games as a distraction from my perpetually cursed health and should never be taken seriously unless I mention RL stuff and/or cats.

I really do mean things to the extent that if our theme was Batman, and we were both on mafia side. You'd be the Penguin trying to carefully plot out a crime syndicate, only to find yourself dealing with me in Joker mode going, "Whelp! Time to go poison the water supply!! <3 <3 <3 Love you guys! Be right back!!!"

Serious for real though, I do like having you around.

RVS being canned already or not, I am refraining from putting any vote down until Monday when I can really participate in case we really start trying to send someone to lunch. Just wanted to check in while I had a free moment, also to say that it's great to see a handful of new(to me at least) players in the bunch.

Oookay. I've obviously missed a few eps the last couple of years, but what you're saying is that if Frostburn is mafia, then he's a blank check mafia with whom scumtells don't apply and self-contradiction should be dismissed ? Essentially... what, background noise ?

Sounds comfy. Anyway, I'll let the players who are more familiar with him than me monitor this (and if needed, confirm/infirm it). But let's just say that, on my corner, as a returning player, both Frostburn's move and your blanket defense of him have started -rightly or wrongly- to tint my cartography.

read your role message from pooka carefully, and work out if you're town, who should try and keep their role secret so the mafia gets less info to work with, or mafia who need to keep their role secret to win the game.

Okay, so I'll follow through with my logic.

Voting based on the first random vote (and literally denouncing it as "serious vote" - post 8) and then claiming to "not [be] treating it as a serious vote" (post 17) feels scummy to me. In fact my first reflex in front of post 8 had been to check the sign up thread to see if it was his first mafia game and could be excused as some unfamiliarity with the random phase vote. Cat confirms it's really not, so :

Self-contradiction? Joe may have stated earlier that he would likely have less time for this game, but unlike his vote, there is no way my RVS-breaker goes without a response. (RVS = Random Vote Stage)

That said Catv feels slightly off but just slightly, Telika seems town pretty much, don't know about anyone else.
