bucktoothgamer: While I share similar sentiments about the Telika questioning being overboard
Idk, seemed legit to me.
bucktoothgamer: With so little concrete info to go on at this point, wouldn't coming out and saying "IM MAFIA" be pretty high up the scummy list regardless of joking or not? So early in the game no one has any evidence of their town-ness to refute the angry mob when they have to go into "its just a joke mode".
This reminds me of a Vine where someone pretends to piss on someone's tire in the parking lot of what could only be a U.S. shopping center and then running away from the angry proprietor for their life shouting "It's a joke, it's a joke, IT'S A PHUCKING JOKE!"
Join the club!
Atlo: one who draws attention to herself cannot possibly be mafia!
Oh, you sweet summer child...
FrostburnPhoenix: dedo feels a little fluffy and LAMISTy.
I must be in the crepuscular zone because I've been agreeing with you too much.
supplementscene: *list*
If I've missjudged anyone please let me know your objections
I must be feeling good because I wanna say the list is only half lame.
supplementscene: What do players who've played with Dedo think about this???
He does seem rather defensive and noncommittal. His playstyle has evolved over the years though. I would check his most recent mafia role game, but I doubt you'd find much. Even if behavioral similarities exist, he's an experienced enough player to be dynamic and thus nothing will be consistent over the event horizon to an end game.
bucktoothgamer: The only other real lead I have seen worth looking into is Telikas being suspicious of Lift's pro-town tutorials, but as I said before I find it hard to really fault bad faith investigation this early if they're not going to put a vote behind it.
You seem rather suspicious to me.
my name is anime catte: AmbitionZ
Who?
Atlo: but I don't really see how lynching an innocent townie would result in anything useful.
Any flip would be info gain because then we'd have a wagon to analyze, former arguments, interactions with others, or lack thereof.
Atlo: No, because I said - I'm simply, by nature, suspicious of anyone who is helpful.
Must be a post-communist thing. Straight outta that eastern playbook.
FrostburnPhoenix: I Think you have to write out their entire username.
Whatchu talkin' bout, Willis?
Catventurer: I'm expecting that Az is going to show up late (again), get hit with a penalty from the game moderator (again), and start doing marathon posts (again.)
Hey, at least I'm two for three here!
csanjuro: what means "I'm TOWN"?
I'm chaos and you're mayhem. PookaMustard: 12 hours extra for free, everyone!
And you get an hour, and you get an hour, and you get an hour. Everyone gets an hour! Telika: reformulate it again and again and again and also again.
Damn, that's a lot of agains....
Who?
Telika: the scumminess of the Joe thing shits aswell
Damn. I hope it got toilet paper.
Telika: I think that posting-a-lot-without-content may be a good thing to check
My partner said I should become a tik-toker.
Catventurer: I was town-aligned and tied to Joe via the Lovers role. If he had dropped any hints to me in the thread that he was also town-aligned, they all went over my head so I remained clueless to his affiliation.
Funny. I recall him doing so, albeit I only noticed them post-claim.
Catventurer: I do believe that out of Lift and yourself that if one of you is mafia that it is also true that at least one of you is town
Unless they have a daychat and are doing an outstanding job of manipulating us like I wish I could manipulate the options market.
Telika: because he could also have genuinely not read the rules and yet have attempted to make us believe there's no mafia daychat (thinking it would be a nice secret to keep). It's one more possibility that weakens my "ignored daychat threrefore town" theory.
I'm not following.
If
A) he genuinely didn't read the rules
and
B) knew that there was a scum daychat because he is scum
then how does that lead to
C) us knowing that there is a daychat without it being in the rules (Frosty's assumption in the scenario you present)
so he could
D) try to convince us that there is no daychat?
This is more than just a stretch now.
Telika: And also (and I'm aware that, ironocally, it veers close to omgus aswell), I didn't really like his post 112. Cat (who I tend to imagine town) stated that he hesitated to vote against me but refrained himself thinking I was new to the game, and Frost just mentioned I wasn't. It's true and informative, but it was just that. It implicitly meant "go ahead, vote Telika please" but (this is what I dislike about it) it wasn't accompanied by an opinion. It wasn't "feel free to vote Telika, but I think he's town" or "feel free to vote Telika, I also think he's scum". It felt more indirect, and seemingly uninvolved.
Tell me, do you like disclaimers?
FrostburnPhoenix: 3. You don't scare me. Is this because I never accepted your friend request?
What am I reading?
FrostburnPhoenix: You and dedo don't s-scare me bakas!
Ppffffft
You slap a porno at the end and get a player's name. We often use nicknames and abbreviations here. It takes a little to get acquainted with all of them, especially when some people change their profile name or have different accounts.
Catventurer: Please forgive me?
I'll think about it.
Catventurer: Do you see anything suspicious about post #47?
Nope, the post is alright. But Telika's inquiry was also legitimate, at least coming from someone who is not acquainted with Lift's playstyle.
Catventurer: Here's a bump post in case you need it. I'm off to bed.
Thank you! I didn't need one then, but I might need one now. Bed time is also coming fast for me.
