Sorry, I probably worded that wrong. You said:
I was asking if Frostburn said there are three scum roles which are all the scum in the game. As far as I know the amount of scum isn't known, at least not from the game thread. Three are a good assumption but you mentioned it explicitly so I got the impression that was part of the slip but I can find it.

No, but the slip only makes sense if there are three Mafiosi with PRs. If there are only two, then I fully expect both to have PRs in a 2vs10 game. Three on the other hand are already powerful by themselves vs 9, so if I see all 3 have PRs I'd expect it to be a role heavy game.
Of course assuming it is a scum slip. It could be like Frostburn said: he himself had a (town) PR and slipped by writing his first post, realised what he's done and attempted to correct it in his second post.

To be technical...
Shadows of the Empire is listed as an Action/Adventure...
Anyway...
I am curious about how the "all scum have roles was arrived at". It could be a slip. It could be overreading the situation.
I do have to say specifically numbering the scum at "3" is equally curious and could be considered a slip as well. While the most likely number, it seems more than sure. But I wouldn't rule out 2 and an adverse 3rd party such as a serial killer or "town" arsonist.

Looks like RVS ended with a... bang
*sigh*
ZFR: Ah, I see what you mean now.

I don't quite follow on your reasoning here, given that 3vs9 is the standard 25% ratio in 12-players game. Can you elaborate/rephrase?

I'm going to play a bit of devil's advocate here and say that I can see how the intro can be read in a way that suggests that all scum have special powers. Maybe it's a language thing and it only makes sense to me, and Frostburn I suppose, but I can see it. I do agree that it shouldn't be taken as a confirmation since flavor should be just flavor and I'm pretty sure Lift is aware and hasn't done it intentionally.

Or, simpler.
In a 12 player game:
You're a Mafioso in a 3 Mafia team. You see that all of you have PRs. Do you assume it's a role madness?
Maybe...
You're a Mafioso in a 2 Mafia team. You see that all of you have PRs. Do you assume it's a role madness?
No...
ergo: the slip, if present, is only possible in a 3 Mafia team.

Since I already revealed I have a role, should I claim? Or wait?

So if I were a Mafioso and see that both myself and my buddies were PRs, I'd think "Cool. With so many Mafia PRs, this has to be a role-madness". And maybe I'd slip and write it loud in my first post, realise my mistake, and correct it in second.[...]
