Why should I believe there is a Commuter at all? Because Pooka had one in the 9v2 setup?

The reason that counter-claiming works for roles like Cop or Doctor, especially Cop, is that these roles are powerful enough that having multiples unbalances the game. These roles are powerful enough that specific counters had to be developed for even when there is only one instance in the game.

Commuter is a different story. I can't think of anything that is designed to counter a Commuter. I'm not even sure that Strongman breaks it. The closest thing is limiting the number of times it can be used.

Oh just hammer him already. He's admitted that he's not Town. Killing him will clear some things up (ex. if he IS Neutral, then we aren't in a 9v3, which means it might be 9v2v1, which means maybe Pooka took that setup and tossed in a Neutral), and he's said he's not Town so there's no risk of lynching Town.

Does it mean that your claim after Micro-the-Cop claim was meant for Cop to not waste his investigation on you and search for Mafia elsewhere? I mean Pooka clearly stated Macho Cop on the list, Mafia would definitely NK the Cop, unless you thought Pooka changed the role from Macho to ordinary Cop I don't see a good reason for that early claim. Do you?

Then the sample PM of the scum is a lie and Pooka is a bastard.

Actually, no. I'm going to say I didn't lurk all of Day 1. I just went away for the weekend and stayed a few days longer than I planned to.
It's not that I was observing but keeping out of it, I actually wasn't there.

The hateful reasoning of votes, the premature claim, the witholding shots usage info and the presenting evidence to support my claim I did though. I did all those things.

The only one I'd say was misjudged was the premature claim.



I got back from a weekend away (shorter this time) to find myself once again lead wagon and thought deadline was imminent and I was being pressured to claim. Later when ZFR had a go at me for claiming early was the first time it occured to me that the claim might not have been necessary.

Still, I don't think a claimed commuter is as detrimental as ZFR made out.

Well I know we're not dealing with exactly that list, but we're likely dealing with something that resembles it.
I believe we have a doctor who protected the first kill, and Lifthrasil tries to take credit for the block in order to confuse that.
But still, the mafia team is sure to be different, even if it's just the inclusion of another goon.
And really, how can we say? Pooka knows.
