Before that, though: I have an odd feeling/hunch that scum were on my wagon on D1 and possibly Dedo's wagon on D2.

As such, it might be worth the time spent for town to cross reference/etc those two wagons to see what comes up.

Why does this sound like scum!zfr upset at their scum buddy for drawing so much heat/attention with such an iffy claim as commuter? Hmm....

My (prolly dumb) theory: you were supposed to be the "loud scum" drawing heat/attention away from your scum mates, and Joe went and blew that a bit for ya. Sound about right?

Another (silly) theory: or scum might leave Micro alive and hope that everyone starts to suspect/vote him enough for remaining alive...that way they can get another player as NK and maybe also remove Micro in one stroke.

This little mix up(saying lynch instead of NK)......possible scum tell, I wonder? Hmmmmmmmm.....

All things considered, ya prolly won't need it...given the current wagon situation(listed a few posts above this one by Pooka).

My top 3 suspects atm are Joe, Flub, and ZFR.
(maybe also Leoric as a runner up for their recent post 689 where they seem to vote while me while also nudging nudge Catte to hammer while we still have a good amount of time left before EOD)

My advice: check my wagon for D2 and D1, and also the votes for Dedo and Dedo's Wagon for D2. I feel comparing them might bear fruit and help find scum.

You make a good point(one I made earlier as well, btw).....if Joe is indeed town then it's better me than them(even if I cannot play any more thereafter).

I am now at L-1 and likely will be the lynch. If that is the case, my top suspects are: Joe/Flub/ZFR

Also, I recommend checking the votes/partial wagon for me for D1, the votes/wagon for me for D2, and also the votes/partial wagon for Dedo for D2.....I have a feeling some useful insights might be gleaned from comparing them all.

Besides all that, I find Leoric's "out of the blue" putting me at L-1 and then seeming suggestion for Catte to maybe hammer me(when we still have around 16 hours left to go till EOD) to be a wee bit suspicious, so maybe keep an eye on/look into them as well.

Lastly, I will say this: I WILL NOT allow another NL

If we get close to EOD(an hour or so left) and no other wagon seems like it will go through I will do what it takes to make sure a wagon goes through.

@Cadaver: sorry for mis-reading. It was late and I was tired.

Currently GH is in the lead, which is OK. Joe still might be scum though. Commuter who didn't do anything in N1 is an awfully convenient claim. ... Although I kind of think that scum-Joe would have tried to leave the possibility open that he might have been the one to prevent the NK. I.e. scum-Joe might have claimed to have used his ability, without having gotten any flavour feedback. This wouldn't have tied him down too much but would still have implied, that he probably was the target of the NK and therefore not scum. ... But he claimed not to have used his ability. I.e. we know he wasn't the NK-target. Which doesn't say anything about his alignment. Therefore, it appears that he is telling the truth. Because a scum-Joe, if he played smartly, would have claimed to have used his power.

But then again, Joe's notion of smart play might differ from mine. So he is in no way proven Town. But in my opinion he is more likely Town (or less likely scum) than GH. Therefore my vote stays on GH, unless I have to switch to avoid another NL.

Yeah, I get what ya mean by lazy wagon.

Also ya better be here.....cuz if the Joe wagon doesn't go anywhere(or any other wagon besides mine, for that matter)....well, i'll just say that you should read post 696 if you didn't do so yet.

There is a also a scenario where scum!Joe was afraid of a Tracker or another similar role if he did something else other than nothing. I thought about the whole thing last night - the way I see it working where Joe is scum is he claimed Commuter and held back on whether he used his ability to give himself wiggle room and feel the room more before deciding to say he did. Claiming he went out bears the risk of someone calling him out on it but also gives him the option to qualify for being the one who prevented the NK. On the other hand saying he didn't use his ability (in case he didn't do anything detectable) is safer but also makes it clear someone else was responsible for the save. Sure, he doesn't get potential credit for it but maybe the real hero gets outed somehow in the process so there's a smorgasbord of nice targets on N2. Or he's just campTown lady Commuter Joe and all of this is one big mess.

I'm starting to sound like him, don't I?

Besides the above, I am also okay with being the lynch(if need be, I mean, if no other lynch is viable) because my mind is also somewhat elsewhere due to IRL weighing on my heart/mind: a relative of mine was admitted into the hospital with collapsed lung and pneumonia(and possibly other issues) not too long ago, and also I have other issues on my mind as well.
(it's partially due to the above that I haven't posted as much as I normally do)

I'm sorry about that buddy, it sounds terrible. I hope your relative gets through it and back on their feet.

Thanks for that. They're up in age, so we're understandably a bit concerned. As of now, they're currently in ICU(after surgery), and we're waiting for more news as it comes.
