Well ya do know how easily led I can be in these games....seeing as you skillfully played me like a fiddle along with (iirc) Micro in the last game. ;)

Well, in part I did, and for several reasons:

I wanted to see if/when/how Leoric would respond to getting more votes on them....i.e. maybe they'd say something that would help me to figure if they were scum or not, or at least they might hopefully post some more to the game. Of course this plan isn't going too well, as Leoric hasn't even posted in awhile.

Lurkers/newbies were the entire scum teams(or close to it) in (iirc) the last two games, so as a result I am a tiny bit more suspicious of such players and am keeping an eye on them more in this game. Leoric is a newcomer and isn't posting much, so.....

Well that's good to hear......hopefully we can also figure out who to lynch(even if it somehow turns out to be me) some time before deadline.....so we don't all scramble to pick someone near EOD like in a number of previous games.

No need to be sorry.....IRL comes first, after all....you just have to try to make sure to post at least once every 48 hours(as per the game rules).

No worries......newcomers usually get one "day"(D1) of unofficial immunity anyways.
(we usually give newcomers at least the first "day" without being lynched to welcome them to the game)

Sorry. Weekend means very little time and limited internet access. I'm not dead yet, but I don't have anything to contribute at the moment, due to no reading. We had a baptism celebration today, so I had other things in mind. But I'll try to catch up as soon as i manage.

After you're back now, one question: was this vote intentionally left un-bolded? I.e. did you intentionally place an invalid vote? Or was that an accident and you meant it as real vote?

Well my vote was more meant to be a prod than an accusation that you are scum, so when GymHenson voted for you immediately after me I decided that a) I didn't need to leave my vote on you because GH's vote is as good as mine and b) that GH's vote seemed suspicious.

You could say I changed my mind, but my vote for you wasn't an accusation of guilt anyway. Sometimes people (especially me) can get a bit lurky in these games (reading but not posting much) so a vote is a good way to get a response. ;)

Actually that turned out to me mostly based on erroneous reasons. I missed the vote in Micro's post #93 where he first voted Bookwyrm by his in-game name and then I misread the follow-up to it. I got the impression Micro FOS-ed Wyrm and only voted him after you brought it up. which wasn't the case. Ignoring that I find it just a little bit strange Wyrm is getting voted based on accusation of role-fishing when, in my opinion at least, this is something most people here including Micro should should know isn't likely to be actually happening. So my interest is dialed down but the vote still looks slightly opportunistic.


It appears that Leoric has gained some anti-popularity and some people have acted upon it which is also kind of interesting.

Also on Micro I forgot to mention that another thing that stood out afterwards was that he changed his vote from Wyrm to Leoric based on random.org results. That makes it look like that original vote on Wyrm was just RVS stuff since it got replace by a random vote but if that's the case was it worth it all the effort to vote the in-game name and then re-vote the actual name in order to make the vote stick?

Sometimes I do so to point it out to each person being replied to(as sometimes people don't read all my replies), and other times I forget myself and repeat things.

IIRC the scum team then was also lurkers and/or newbies as well. Could be wrong though....might have been the third game before this one.

The point being, I am watching lurkers/newbies a bit more this game, just in case scum hides among them yet again.
