I'm leaning towards Pookina at the moment, purely because of the "I thought it would have been dedo" thing. I can't see how anyone would not expect ZFR to be the one taken out.

When ZFR said "is it dedo after all" I actually thought it might be him and he finally found a way to discredit me. I was expecting the NK to be Pooka if it was in fact ZFR so the two of you can vote me out on final 3 or the NK to be ZFR, in case he's Town, to make me look bad and leave the scum the biggest possible amount of WIFOM for the end-vote. The problem is, it unfortunately can be both ways as it works directly in your favor but Pooka may have engineered it to look like that. I do think Pooka is more likely to be Town though but I'm still confused on why you didn't vote out Joppo but displayed hesitation about it. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me for scum!nmillar.

Wasn't that right after the long night due to Lift's absence? To be honest, I'd completely forgotten about the game and hadn't even been on the forum for a fair while, to the point of almost having to be replaced.

If I remember correctly, the Joppo lynch was well under way by the time I returned, so I asked for clarification on what the other reasons were while I was trying to catch up.

It was me who was gone. And yes, it was as you guys shifted towards Micro while I was away and Joppo's lynch defaulted to D2.

But you were there for Micro's lynch, no? I assume you followed the game during that period so Joppo's reforming wagon shouldn't have been a surprise, no?

Yes, I was following the game at the point of Micro's lynch on D2, but like I already mentioned, there was an extended night period, I forgot all about the game and everything that had transpired, and didn't return until quite a way into D3. At that point, I had no recollection of anything that had occurred prior to that point, so was playing catch up, hence asking the question in the hope that someone would point me to the relevant posts.

Anyway, I'd like an answer from Pookina as to why he thought you would be the subject of the NK, as all logic would point to ZFR.

And I would love to known why you think that anyone other than ZFR being the NK would come as a surprise? Considering most of us had him ad a strong town read, the only way he could have survived the night is if he himself was scum.

This is actually a good point. If it's not obvious to someone we shouldn't be just placing votes without everyone first saying who they want to lock on. I'm on Among Us with ZFR and Vitek at the moment but I would like some additional time to re-read something, so please don't do jump your guns.

Oh, come on, give me some credit. I'm not that poor a player when I'm scum. I nearly always throw at least one of my scum buddies under the bus whenever I'm scum. Even a complete beginner would have seen that his scum buddy lynch was inevitable and make sure he was on the wagon.

The more I think about it, the more I believe Pookina is our man. If dedo was the remaining scum, then he could easily have ended the game by now by now by convincing me that my suspicions are "right" and get me to place my vote.

I may be tunneling now but this just keeps looking worse for you. You're now telling me you're a better scum player than this but that would inherently mean that you just played a very poor Town game this time. Are you a better scum player than Town player in general?

Would you say that if you were scum or would you rather go against me instead and leave the 50/50 to the third player?


By the way, I still haven't re-read Pooka, I'll do so in the late afternoon / early evening as I'm taking my filmily to the mountain in hopes there is snow there for some sleighing.

I wouldn't say I'm better as scum than as town, but I do agree that I've played this game poorly, as I've not been particularly engaged. I think the games where I am scum or have some kind of town role are the ones where I play to the best of my abilities, but I don't have the same enthusiasm with a vanilla role.

If I was scum, I would absolutely be giving whoever was on the wrong track subtle encouragement to cast their vote so that I could jump on it and win the game.

Yes absolutely. You're clearly leaning towards me, so I would vote for you and try to manipulate Pookina into following suit. With you believing me to be the remaining scum, my targeting of Pookina would make no sense if I was scum as I'd have no hope of getting that vote through as Pookina isn't going to target himself.

when you know full well that just one misplaced vote is all it takes for scum to win...perhaps you are the scum here? But I'm going to turn a blind eye to it. Maybe you don't know I'm working now, or that the time you saw me "online" was during the night when I was turning myself to sleep.

The reason why I thought dedo would the nightkill? A hunch. It may not be the sort of explanation you were expecting, but that was really it. Just a hunch I had.

And yes, the post that you mentioned it being "noncommittal" was indeed, noncommittal. As you have noticed, I've not said who I think is scum. This is deliberate, but not for the reason you stated. I'm not getting on the graces of both sides, I'm just laying out some starting points for the two of you.

Although dedo could have easily smoothly lied to us, I find it unlikely that Scumporno would have waited as long as he did to make his point against Joppo, especially if it was discussed in scumchat. I do however find it likely that nm waffled when the time came to bus his scumbuddy. Especially since he was busy when the events with joppo escalated, and so the events that unfolded took him by surprise. Normally, I think nmillar can make a pretty good lone wolf run (see the Me Baka, Watcher of Kalunga game), but not this time. For some reason or another, life reared its ugly head and he just couldn't coordinate so well with Joppo.

Right now, my scum radar is leaning in nmillar's way. I don't think the main problem this Day is whether I'm Scum or Town. The main problem would be if one of you (dedo or nmillar) convinces me better than the other.
