That depends on who the scum are. Carefully playing scum may not want to hammer so far from the deadline. Daring or reckless scum - or scum wanting to use WIFOM, saying 'I would never do that as scum' - could very well try to hammer. The point is, as Town we can't know how scum think. So there is a risk bringing someone to L-1, that one always needs to be aware of.

Aaand I think that was the hammer. Were you aware that you are hammering so far from the deadline? Or was that an "accidental" hammer?

@dedo: my heartfelt condolences. Take all the time off you need. If Catte agrees we can pause the game, I think we will all agree to wait for you. I hope you and your close ones get through these trying times, giving each other support.

Dunno what to say, other than that's how I currently scum hunt...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.....but then the same could be said for most if not all player's scum hunting methods here.

(also fwiw I do try to constantly adapt it as time and games go on....to varying results)

Well OP posted the extended deadline in BOLD a few posts above that, and I myself underlined the fact that Micro was at L-1 in two separate posts(recent ones, too).....of course there is a chance Joppo might've just missed them, so make of that what you will.

(Of course I have a gut feeling Joppo is more likely to be scum, so I will likely be keeping an eye on them....and the rest of my bragging rights list....on D3)

BTW, a question while we have time: who are your top 3 suspects atm?

Sidenote: My bragging rights list is in a post by me with the words bragging rights, iirc....in case I (for some reason) am the NK and people need to know who my current suspects are.

He knew he was hammering. He specifically wanted to end the day earlier so that dedo break takes place at Night and he doesnt get swamped with tons of posts while he's away. And since it was between him and Micro anyway, he preferred Micro.

I was so much more confident in all of this when it looked like I had no chance of being proved wrong.

Joppo is a kind soul like that.

That said, that doesn't necessarily preclude Joppo from being scum and doing it to also help win the game.

True, he gives a rationale for voting Micro. And he writes 'maybe it would be good to end the Day early'. But for me there is a difference between "Maybe it would be good to end the Day" and "I'm ending the Day right NOW!"

What Joppo wrote looks to me too unspecific. Therefore I ask, so that he can put in clear words whether he conciously hammered or whether he wants to pretend that it was an accident and that he overlooked, for example, GH's vote.
