Tbh I dunno....what you do, though, should be up to you and your judgement of course.

As for me: I myself hesitate with removing votes sometimes, as I have removed votes in the past and found out later the ones I voted for were scum.....thus I tend to stick with my initial gut instincts a bit more than others.
(as i'm....in part.....afraid of changing my mind, as town, and finding out later it is what helped town to lose the game)

Hmm, some might want a NL today...but then why not vote for it instead of waiting several IRL days for the EOD?

(Especially as we now have a time extension making the game near 4 IRL days till EOD, and possibly longer if OP feels the need to extend it further)

To me this is WIFOM.....they might be scum, or they might be town not willing to lynch someone they might not feel is scum, or it could be one of each...etc etc.

(Of course you made an interesting point, so thanks for making note of that and reminding me to check the wagons a bit more)

That was in large part due to how they answered.

See, I often focus on people who (after I declare my suspicions of them and etc) seem to be trying to shade me or focusing on me in a certain way. If those players hadn't tunneled on me so much after the fact, I likely would've backed off a bit.

Actually, I focus on some players when I find things to suspect a bit more than some more due to the fact that I worry about guessing wrong the second time around.....as it happened to me before in past games. I still try to look for suspects elsewhere in the meantime if and when I can, though.

Dedo could well use some extra time out of the game, so maybe ending the day would be a good thing. (Even better than extending the day would be extending the night. No stuff to read during the downtime)

Also, the latest developments with Micro were worrisome. I voted him during D1 and my concerns raised with late D2 developments. I wouldn't be surprised if his flip reveals scum.

Since it appears one of us is going to be lynched AND letting it be me would be knowingly removing one player from Town (as opposed to one that might be scum), I think the best idea is to

To everyone: it may mean nothing, but I merely ask that everyone take note of Joppo's hammer here on D2 when D3 starts.

(See, no one hammered Joppo when he was at L-1 for quite awhile, not even iirc Micro...and yet Joppo hammered without too much hesitation. Worth thinking about, imo....ESPECIALLY if Micro turns out to be town)

Why not? once I got tuna on the brain, everything stayed prefixed with tuna.

I could have said "3-horned lizard" or "volkswagen beetle" just as easily and it would have done just as well.
I figured everyone was tuna since we town are "tunabeef" (which i thought didn't exist).

In an abstract sense, I had seen a pun. I've forgotten it now. I think it had something to do with how I love beef and hate fish, but tuna is alright once a month--maybe. Preferably every other month.

I was thinking during dinner.
The only reasons for scum not hammering Joppo when he was at L1/2 means either a) they were both already on the wagon, b) joppo is scum and the other scum didn't care to bus / hammer c) one was on the wagon and the other wasn't.

The quick hammer on *me* when *he* was at L2 makes Joppo look suspect, especially four days from EOD

As i was thinking about it, however, Lift's sheer aggressiveness and unreasonableness kept coming to mind. I honestly associate it more with scum lift than town lift, as I think T!lift is more hesitant?
Very much the same goes for Joe. His being unwilling to accept a perfectly good explanation seems.......scummy. There. I said it.
The whole duo of them seemed to be passing the baton from Joe to Lift, then Lift took it and ran with it, dragging Joe behind him.
I fear that Joe might have been duped by Lift and then drug along, but I am bad at reading Lift often, and Joe is cagey, so...
I don't think it is both of them, however. The dynamic just seems wrong for them to be a team together. I don't think they'd be so blatantly following each other like that. And WIFOM tells me I often doubt town!lift, while Joe uses humour to evade, but...

However I think that Lift was the bigger culprit. More "with his teeth sunk in", as it were.

I can see this happening:
Town Joe goes "what's that"
Scum Lift: huh? it's perfectly reasonable...
Micro: huh?
Town Joe: that thing right there....
Lift: OOOOH. We got a town slip! Activate Protocol Fish4beef!
Lift proceeds to tunnel just hard enough to convince Joe to not listen to reason but to sink me.

(OR) it cold be the other way 'round, where Joe is scum and presented the idea well enough via humor (humor is sometimes disarming to our logic) that Lift was convinced. But.....

Look for the other scum among one of those who defended me.

I was gonna say Bucktooth, but I just don't know him well enough. It could be joppo because he didn't let it ride to NL and hammered while I was AFK.
It could even be GH, an avowed advocate of NL not giving me the chance to respond.

I don't think that it is ZFR? it would be a bold scum move to draw so much heat D1, hide (comparatively; in terms of the amount of heat focused his way) on D2, and defend the town who was in the town/scum crosshairs.

Nmillar was opportunistic in voting a lurker when lurking himself.

I'd go with one of Joe / Lift + Joppo / bucktooth / nmillar.

If GH is scum (which I doubt), I tip my hat to him.

This is one reason why i'm split between either going after joppo(or one of my other bragging rights players) on D3, or going for NL.

Well the plan was for me to vote and then see if anyone hammered quickly, and it seems to have paid off(Joppo voted a mere 1-2 hours after me, when we had plenty of time left).

Yeah, you got taken out of the game, but (if you're town) then it was for the greater good & we might've exposed a scum. :)

Sidenote: PLEASE do post status updates on your IRL and otherwise stay in touch(non game info wise) in the signup thread....I , for one, wouldn't mind seeing such posts there every now and then.....and would gladly reply when I am able. :)
