That's why a player should probably (just a humble suggestion) leave a "placeholder" vote(their most likely vote at the time) on someone when they have time to post....if they're going to be busy or possibly busy later on when time is scarce on a "day".

Aren't those two things different? You obviously would never suspect yourself as scum regardless of whether you are one or not but you can't escape the fact that you voted for Trent so this comparison seems a bit weird. Or I'm not following correctly.

The assumption that he has thrown the proverbial towel down as caught scum, correct? This is what annoys me - where did that assumption come from? Solely from the fact that Trent hammered himself? What about his closing words? Those made no sense in the context of him being scum so his alignment should have been still a question to you, who didn't think he was scum enough to vote. The self-hammer is scummy, OK, but there is no gain for Trent to go thespian like that and keep the façade just to mess with us (nor is he like that as a person/player but let's say you don't know him that well so you didn't know better).

Not voting for Trent is one thing and completely fine in itself (even more so in hindsight). Patting the wagoneers (is that a even a word?! It is now, madafaka!!) on the back for catching scum where you failed in the way you did is a whole different story and that's the issue here. Let me ask you something else. You say you asked for a bump but got distracted and didn't use it. What were you going to say if you did make use of it?

Right now I'm thinking we can hold off on that NL one more day.

It's *never* good to NL, unless both of the following hold: (a) We can guarantee parity not changing Day to Day (i.e. exactly one NK - no Vigs, SK, Doctors, Blockers... etc) (b) the total number of players is even. As you can see these conditions can only be true once for the whole game (barring a major screw-up where players don't lynch on time). Whom we hit doesn't matter.

I've already said before: Since it can lessen the enjoyment of the game I won't push for NL. Not till MYLO. dedo and Lift already pointed out how it can be "anti-game" despite being pro-Town.

I won't oppose it: if the majority do want it, I'll happily vote it. From what I see though, we don't have the majority for it.

However if we do go that way can I ask we do it in the next day or two? Othewise, since for some strange reason catte gave us 8 days, as Lift said this will drag forever.

If not, let's not make it a topic. We can do it later - the mathematical advantage of doing it toDay is tiny.
