trentonlf: The way the day ended I didn't know who would be a good target to pick. I had a limited window to submit my choice and up till that time I was torn. I ended up deciding not to use it because if I did give scum the ability to use 2 night actions I would probably be one of the kills and I would hurt Town more than help because I wouldn't be alive to say who I gave the ability to.
You would have been better to say you targetted flub and got blocked.

Well this troubles me now. Considering Vitek's passing I feel i need to confirm my role for the sake of transparency and hopefully give us more insight to dig through past post wise:

My name is Marcus, the friendly super mutant.

My role is that of a coward, I am REQUIRED each night to select another person to hide behind. If I am targeted for a NK, the person I hid behind takes the bullet.

I capped required, as after pooka turned out to be town. I was going to refuse to hide at the risk of getting another townie killed. I did confirm with Lift however, that my hiding is compulsory and I can not opt out of the action.

Were the interesting part comes in is that Vitek was who I chose to hide behind last night.

So this means that either Vitek OR I were the intended target of the sniper last night.

If I didn't have to reveal my role I could have used it even if I did give scum the action as they wouldn't know it was me. Knowing it is me they would just kill me with one of the kills. Very frustrating to say the least sitting on the power.

I get all this. There is a good argument that what you did is the right thing (had you chosen a Mafia they NK you and NK someone else) so you had to weigh the fors and against.

I'm just finding it hard to believe that the same person who did these coolheaded calculations about his role is the same one who was so frustrated that he wrote "you all suck" twice, second time in bold.

If I were this person doing the weighing who felt so passionately about it, then "but it's so cool I want to use it" would have been prominently put in the "for" column.

Since I had to reveal my role to me the smarter option was to wait and if I lived use my role on night 2 when I hopefully had a better feeling of who Town was. The way the day ended I was not very confident in anyone.
