dedoporno: We played board games with our guests until 6 in the morning! We played Terraforming Mars for the first time and it was glorious - the game is awesome!
Prelude is worth getting for slightly jumpstarting your development and thus speeding up the early turns; with it, you might've been done at five thirty already! ;P Also Hellas and Elysium once you've played a couple of dozen times and are looking to mix things up a bit.
We mostly play it as a 2-player game - mostly due to covid, of course, but it does work very well as such, only losing a little bit of the positioning battle on the board that you get more of with more players, and as such it'd fill many of our evenings regardless.
Did you ever read the books that inspired the designer? (Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars - by Kim Stanley Robinson). If not, and if hard science fiction is at all your thing, they're well worth your time!

Oh, yeah, also, nice game, y'all! ^_^ I'm particularly impressed by how completely different play styles - and misconceptions about many different things - still meshed together beautifully for a great win.
