Yeah, it's pretty weird the way dedo just freely admitted it when he could have wasted our time by accusing bucktoothgamer. Makes me wonder if this is a calculated bus given how smoothly it went. Dedo's self-vote could also have been an attempt to deny us information. The wagon is effectively one person smaller which gives us less information.

Aha, no! I was just being overly dramatic for the lolles. The first part was meant to be kind of "they're trying to ban christmas!"-type reactionary handwringing and the second part was kind of a "think of the children" thing but with Joe instead. It's ok, I mostly make jokes for my own amusement so I'm quite used to people not getting them.

So (if you're town, that is), you honestly think scum would target you after your claim?

As others have said, the scum team likely won't touch you with a ten foot pole....so it's odd you won't say who you will be hiding behind.

(Of course this is not to say I am trying to force or persuade you to divulge that info if you don't want to....it's just there's little sense they'd target you anymore if you are town and town coward now that you've claimed)

I mean, I claimed on d2 and on n2 my hide target was killed. I will give n1 with vitek as a fluke but two nights in a row? Its not like blots death really made anyone question anyone specific other than myself because I volunteered the info.

If I named any of my potential targets right now, even if I was right on just one of them, that chance for a misdirect goes out the door.

These are simply the facts: I am the town coward, and my hide targets have died 2 for 2, 1 of which came after my claim. So either I have such a tell that scum knows who I'm going to hide behind, or they find me just that little of an investigative threat that they know I won't pick one of them.

Well... let's say he really is a town coward. We're already suspicious of him for having hidden behind both kills so far, if he says who he's going to hide behind it gives the mafia a chance to frame him. Provided his shield isn't one of them, they can either safely target him or just directly kill the person he's hiding behind. Either way we'd have another night where he's hidden behind the NK. If he keeps it a secret then the mafia wouldn't be able to engineer that situation without the risk of him hiding behind one of them. If we still end up with btg's "shield" dead then it'll be a lot more meaningful because the mafia wouldn't have realistically been able to engineer it. Either it'd be another huge coincidence or it'd be because btg was somehow involved in the death.
That's how I feel about it right now, but I have been drinking wine so what do I know?
