He pretended to be day vig and dayvigged scene. He was lying, trying to gauge scene's reaction instead.

ZFR was attacking Scene and saw him as Mafia, Laser was going to lynch you and when he was pressed on why he is not going to change his vote to Scene he suddenly *killed* Scene (but it was a trick, not a real thing), Laser asked Scene what was his role, Scene responded Town Vanilla and after that they become best friends with cross Town reading themselves, because that's how things are in.... crazy Town!

Not a bad summary. Indeed they are now buddies and cross-reading town each other and Scene even makes questions about why voting Lazak. Also he is rules-lawyering arguing that Lazy never broke an actual rule. Indeed the letter of the rules does not say anything about this.

What all that really means is something to consider. Add to that that Scene did not wait for Joe confirming the result. He gave a claim that quick. Even knowing, as he surely does since he is a veteran, that his mentioning of being vanilla hurts Town, if he is really vanilla, or if he is really Town. Did Lazy Walkings gave Scene a chance to fake claim with silver lining? Yes, he did. Why? Did Scene take it?

It might be interesting to hear Lift’s take on this as well.
