It is a day in late spring when I am sat in Gog's restaurant, which many will tell you is among the nicer joints to get a bowl of clams on Broadway, and I am sat in a corner and eating my clams when who should walk in but a party from Boston, Mass. who proceed to the room behind the restaurant and as they go they are talking loud and blowing smoke from their cigars into the faces of the dolls, which seems to be the preferred custom of parties from that city.
Well before they make it across the joint, I am recognising a character by the name of Cadaver Slim, who I am acquainted with on account of a business trip I take to Boston long ago.
And as soon as I am recognising this character, who, to speak frankly, I am preferring not to recognise, he is recognising me and makes his way over to me, blowing smoke into the face of three or four dolls as he comes.
Well we proceed to talk about this and that and it seems to me that he is most anxious to tell me something, and sure enough it isn't long before he is standing up and putting an arm around me and pulling me into the room at the back where I find assembled a great many characters who many of the guys and dolls on Broadway will know to keep away from, and those I do not know, who are the party from Boston, are introduced to me by Cadaver Slim as Scenes Supplemicz, Large the Lift, and Lazy Walkins, who are here on special invite to discuss an affair of no little importance.
And I am becoming more uneasy as I notice the likes of Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer, and Cristine the Gale, who are most unsavoury characters if you happen to meet them when they are fed and watered and are caught up on their sleep.
I see also a contingent who are a common feature at any craps game you would stumble into in our city; Diceman Zeffer, Miss Pookie Mustard and Games O'Rager.
At this time I am beginning to think I should bid old Slim a good afternoon and return to my own business, as a guy who finds himself involved in other peoples' business in this town is liable to also find himself mussed up somewhat, but before I can tell Slim that it was a pleasure meeting him again and I hope to spend some time on his turf before too long, what should happen but in comes Shirley Primalley, and she is arm-in-arm with Mike the Fish, and now I am most anxious to be somewhere else, for these are two crooks of the highest quality.
I may well be leaving too, but as Slim goes to sit, Shapie Lonzi, who I have not seen on account of how she keeps to the corner and waits to pounce, grips me by the arm and begins to speak to me in a most hurried and urgent tone. Well it seems that Slim has brought me into some form of business arrangement gone sour and that all parties assembled are none-too-composed, and as a matter of fact are finding themselves most out of sorts.

A player who is being voted for by the majority of living players will be immediately killed, their role will be made public knowledge, and the game will go to the action phase. A player may also vote no-lunch. A majority vote of no-lunch will end the voting phase without a death.
4. When you are killed, you are out of the game - stop posting.
5. Don't edit your posts for any reason. Learn to love typing errors and ambiguous grammar!ALSO Do not post multiple times without leaving a break of 10 minutes between posts.
6. Please bold any requests for vote counts or questions to the moderator.
7. Everything within the game should happen on this page, in messages to the moderator or in any pages specified in your role message from the moderator. Do not discuss the game outside the thread.
