Carradice and Gamerager are a package. If one of them flips scum, the other is doomed as well.

The question of which doctor is lying becomes irrelevant at that point. We can afford to mislynch.

I am sorry, help me with the math here. We currently have 8 players: 5 town, 3 scum.

We lynch scum (Carradice or GameRager) and I am killed: 4 town, 2 scum

We lynch the other and town is killed (Pooka or scene): 3 town, 1 scum

That is still MYLO. It comes down to which Doc the remaining town believe.

What am I missing? How can we afford to mislynch?

My initial reaction to GR post was, someone who has given up. I think I am comfortable with either Carradice or GameRager.

Pookina: Well as for Carradice, as much as I feel his Town self from that HP game is there, well by process of elimination, he is more likely to be scum than usual. In the previous Mafia game he was much more obvious as a jester. If he is scum now, things have changed and he can't just jester his way out, he has to survive for his team. Probably it's a lot easier for him to pretend he was Carradice from that HP game rather than a Townie, if you get what I mean.

But seriously, if he turns out to be scum, I'll be singing praise for him all day. Yes, for fooling us all.

Gotta say I have a feeling GR is "bored" and "waiting for something to happen." Maybe he is waiting for end-game. He doesn't necessarily need to be Town to give up, in other words.
If we lynch GameRager would you consider lynching Carradice tomorrow? I think Carradice is the scummiest overall. My question is if the interaction between SPF and Carradice today was an act to distance. I need closely read what Joppo said today.

In case you guys didn't understand that, whichever one of you is the true doctor needs to roleblock the fake doctor tonight. That will ensure a town victory unless the fake doctor is a strongman.

I am guessing scum expected the lynch to go between the cross-claims today, so decent chance. I'd prefer you just get it right.

cristigale: I am confident enough that my N1 was not re-directed, that you, Pooka and I are conftrmed (you mostly confirmed) town.

We need to all vote together.

It's not about necessarily voting for the one person who looks the scummiest, although that could be the case.

There are three scum, we have to hit one. Who makes the most sense as a team? Who makes no sense as team? There's a lot to consider here besides who we vote today.

I think we either have a situation where Laser and Rager are Scum or Carradice and Rager are scum. So we only lose if Laser is bluffing us over Rager not being scum. Otherwise Rager is certainly scum
I know you listed both Laser and Carradice as possible pairs with Rager. If we lynch Rager, who do you likely vote tomorrow?

I turn to my side so that I can better scratch my cheek and find that I am in the company of Shapie once again. I do not recognise her to begin with, on account of how she wears her hair in quite a different style, and does her face up in a new way, but she whispers to me in an excited manner, and tells me like this:
"Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer is getting very angered with Shirley Primalley. This is stewing between them for no small amount of time, and I am certain that tonight we shall see it some to a head."

Now, if I were in the mood for it I would be laying down some potatoes on Shirley Primalley coming out on top if something should come to a head between Shirley Primalley and Jocelyn Carradice, the Dancer, so I am surprised to hear Shapie describe to me in no uncertain terms how Jocelyn is holding her own in bouts here and there about town, in a strictly unprofessional guise, and how she would not have such confidence in Shirley Primalley as I do.

Yes and no. We'd need to have killed the strong arm and I'd also need to have protected the remaining scum the day before. I am not a gaoler, my blocking action is delayed.
