I meant the example PM, but yes you're right that they'd still normally have to make up a Haitian name but wouldn't since they had their town PM. I bet that's quite a relief to you when it comes your turn to claim. :P

Anyway, the point you were trying to make with it was to throw doubt onto pooka's towniness. I still consider him soft-confirmed though, RFG's check that he wasn't up to anything bad is enough for me.

I'm not sure it does. Without RFG being around to confirm it, we don't know for sure. He seems to look to LOLChan for confirmation, which makes me wonder if he tracked LOLChan that night rather than Pooka. This in turn suggests LOLChan visited Pooka, which contradicts the claim. However, if there was only one scum left alive, then they were busy offing Lithrasil on that night.

Excuse me? What? Have you actually been reading what SPF was saying? He wasn't pushing for a removal via modkill, but telling LOLChan "what you did is drop the entire PM, that's a break of Rule 8" and saying that a rule break at this time presents a dilemma for Joe. He did not push for LOLChan to be removed, but said that a modkill or replacement at about this stage of the game will throw the game off the rails.

Patience pls. I'm pretty sure LOLChan said he'd claim in the next 24 hours and we made a big deal out of the order of the claim. By the time LOLChan said that, there was pretty much nothing else to do until he got in. Besides, your post was made 20 hours after my last post. I'm sure humans don't sleep, or play games, or do other stuff like teaching.

But that doesn't explain why RFG, town tracker, cleared me. If I used to be town and turned scum, then I would have been the one pulling the strings beyond Night 1, so RFG's tracking would have spotted and put me in a horrible situation, rather than just say I am confirmed town.

I'm beginning to see why SPF suspects you. Something isn't sincere about you, especially the "gone very quiet" comment.

Now here's my issue with RFG and LOLChan. RFG's dropping of LOLChan's name implies RFG knows who LOLChan is. Does that mean we had two "teams" who know who the other are: the first being blotunga and GR and the other one being RFG and LOLChan?

Okay, you're missing the point here. He's obviously not going to come out and insist on the mod kill, but he's drawn more attention to LOLChan potentially quoting their PM rather than just accepting the claim and moving on. If we had all chosen to ignore this slip, then there would be no need for mod intervention. Because of this, we now have an element that could influence the game dependant on how the mod decides to deal with this situation.

Can't I tell you in-game before the mod comes down that you broke Rule X and you shouldn't do that again, without getting someone to be suspicious of me? I see it as common sense; "you broke this rule, please re-read it so you can avoid it in the future."

Besides, immediately after SPF drew attention to the claim format, he asked LOLChan if he didn't have any powers while RFG was alive. He has already accepted the claim as it is and began questioning based on that; further attention to the topic were fostered by GR, myself, and yes, you. No. Joe will notice the slip and will carry on with mod intervention, whether it be a simple warning, a modkill or nothing at all. The Mafia rules aren't here as filler for the OP to look grand; they do serve a purpose which we all expect to be fulfilled, even if we all deliberately choose to ignore them. Like SPF said, rule of law even if we all agreed a rule-break problem is a non-issue. Also SPF for Prime Minister.

So now we're in a better place than we used to be a day or two ago.

LOLChan, were you explicitly told in your PM that you can't use your power until RFG is dead, or only until the Haitian Tracker is dead?

I'm personally betting on one of nmillar or SPF being the lone mafioso. nmillar doesn't sound sincere, while SPF is certainly skilled enough to drive a game by himself. I'm leaning more on nmillar; but given that we're most certainly dealing with one mafioso, one can be lynched today, if the game doesn't end by then, lynch the other tomorrow.

99.999999998% sure the last scum must be nmillar by process of elimination.

A backup tracker does make sense if there are no other town power roles. That combined with RFG's namedrop pretty much convinces me.

Pooka is cleared by RFG's post too in my eyes.

GR is cleared by blotunga's flip.

I know my own alignment.

On top of that, nmillar quickly followed trent onto agentcarr's wagon IIRC and then was extremely reluctant to lynch trent. I mentioned this about 2 Days ago I think. Something else I realised, which at the time made me suspicious of RFG, is that RFG's quick vote on nmillar might have been a hint that he'd seen nmillar visit someone who'd died. That by itself isn't damning for nmillar, but as soon as I pointed out nmillar's place on the wagons RFG was all over him. Seemed sudden to me, but perhaps RFG had additional reasons to suspect nmillar.

Anyway, there really is only one thing left for me to do:
