Replies to Lift's posts(even though he is gone I felt the need to answer these old posts)
==========================================================
Lifthrasil: Yes. Don't use bold face unless you want to talk to the mod.
1) he discussed that theory, yes, as did nmillar, as did I. But he didn't list that theory as reason for the policy lynch. The advantages of the policy lynch are independent of the (unlikely) chance that there are 4 scum. Please learn to actually read before you reply, not just skim.
Yes, but SPF was/is pushing more for either of us to be lynched over the rest of you, regardless of reasons.
As for bolding.....I will take your advice into account but it is not a rule in this game & I use it to get player's attention quickly on some things(and don't use it all the time). If OP said to stop I would stop, of course.
Lifthrasil: 2) No. Blotunga sees something that SPF didn't even write as scummy and accuses him of it. Which is called misrepresentation. Which is scummy.
All I seemed to see was SPF and others pushing blotunga to full claim over and over, which seemed scummy to me....fwiw.
Lifthrasil: 3) Again, learn to read before writing. Don't just skim. That is not what I wrote and either you really don't care what others write or you intentionally misrepresent. ... Really, you and blotunga are the scummiest players in this game and only the fact that 4 scum are so unlikely protects you.
Do I have to repeat everything I wrote? Why are we even discussing blotunga at this moment? But OK, I'll indulge you:
- he started out very scummy. Already misrepresenting what others wrote.
- he was unwilling to vote any of the proven scum players. Check it, he was on neither of the trains.
- when I asked for your confirmation, he butted in and didn't let you reply in your own words. Just as if he were afraid of what you might say. Trying to confirm himself, by putting words in your mouth. Which is very, very scummy.
1. I read as best I can....but when there are walls of text it gets daunting.
2. I asked you to repeat what your thoughts were to avoid having to go through several hundred posts by everyone to find specific posts. You didn't need to say what about blotunga bothered you with longwinded talks when a post number or short summary would also have sufficed.
3. Maybe he didn't know if those others were scum and that's why he didn't vote? Of course this could also be scum play to some extent, but I don't think joe would make us opposite alignments just like I find it unlikely we have 4 scum as some think.
4. The confirmation thing also seems a bit scummy, but see just above this line at 3.
Lifthrasil: 4) ... I don't even understand that question? Should I not suspect someone because someone else suspects him too? That doesn't make sense at all!
You voted for someone that someone on your policy lynch/scum list also voted for. To me this seemed odd.
Lifthrasil: 5) Well, you didn't want to lynch trent either, so we know how reliable your reluctance to lynch based on your 'streak' is.
But I find it interesting that you berate SPF for voting for someone who isn't his prime target ... and then you go along voting for someone you don't want to lynch. Not just 'not your prime target', like in SPF's case, but a far stronger 'I don't want to lynch Pooka' ... and then you vote for him nonetheless.
At least I finally hit scum more times than I usually have in a row, which is something I guess.
Lifthrasil: Anyways. Pooka seems to be hiding in spite of the rapidly approaching deadline. Maybe some RL stuff intervened. But maybe he just doesn't know how to defend himself, which would mean we are on to something here.
Who knows.....now we have lost a chance at possibly winning the game due to a no lynch, and you are gone from the game. =============================================
Lifthrasil: 4 hours to go. Please keep in mind that a no-lynch would be way worse than a lynch without a claim!
nmillar: True, but I want to at least allow Pooka as much chance as possible to make an appearance. I'll add my vote shortly before the deadline if it's a no show.
You had a chance to vote and then didn't vote(iirc) and hammer pooka, when you said you would. Why is that?
=============================================
SirPrimalform: I didn't say I wouldn't vote pooka, I said they weren't my preference. The lynch requires consensus and sometimes you have to compromise. I see Lift has already called you out on this so I won't deconstruct your post further.
True enough on the compromise.....which is partially why I voted Pooka on the last "day".
=============================================
PookaMustard: If you fancy seeing a Haitian Regular flip, go ahead and add one more vote to the wagon. Can I also ask for everyone else to claim? After all, if I'm the final scum, it would be pointless for me to ask that at L-1.
Also
vote extend Claiming vanilla town then asking for everyone to claim...
seems very suspicious. Claiming vanilla town allows a scum to not claim a possibly used(by another) PR that another could maybe debunk and the full claim coupled with it is suspicious to a good degree(as I said).
=============================================
Lifthrasil: NO. Definitely not! The same arguments against a mass-claim still apply. Especially if you actually should be Town. Why would you, if you were Town, want to deliver a hypothetical investigative role to the remaining scum on a silver platter? That would only achieve that he will die Tonight and can't report their finding tomorrow.
So, NO MASSCLAIM! Let's just hope that any PRs survive the Night and can share something tomorrow, instead of getting them killed in the last minute.
Lift/you makes/make a good point here, as I also said: The claim thing seems suspect, and is also not good town play.
===============================================
PookaMustard: Whew. Seven people only. I'm actually still thinking of going for one of nmillar, LOLchan or RedFireGaming, since they don't appear as town as SPF or "linked together" as blotunga and GR.
I also think one of the ones you listed(who all/mostly all wanted voting extensions, I see) should be possibly lynched next, and hope we get lucky.
Also why didn't you list Pooka this time?
===============================================
PookaMustard: Thanks, Joe and GR!
So, I've had this thought come down to me just now, about agent's gambit. What if the point of the gambit was not to make trent look good, but to fool us all into thinking there's only three scum instead of four?
I'm thinking we should really go ahead and lynch blotunga or GR to find out.
Thing is, if we are eliminated(through a mislynch/NK combo) then town loses that edge which could be used(if we were the last remaining town) to likely hit the last scum with ease/certainty.
==================================================
Also all caught up.......will post more in a bit, but for now all I can say is this: We had a chance(even if it was more likely to hit town) to hit the last scum, and we blew it....now another town is dead, likely done(as I figured) so that we would be suspect for not being hit in the NK if we both survived the last "day/night".
Make of that what you will. ==================================================
