Okay. Let's go through that systematically. I'll try to list some arguments for and against different scenarios.

Some things are off, independent of scenario:
+GR's incorrect statement about his role
+blotunga's coaching of GR

Could there be one four-scum team consisting of agent, trent, GR and blotunga?
+GR's defense of trent
+blotunga didn't vote against any scum
- it would be a severely broken setup. 8 Town vs. 4 scum would mean game-over after 2 mislynches.

GR+blotunga = scum lovers would mitigate that somewhat, but still scum would have started with an oversized voting power.

So, as much as blotunga's and GRs behaviour is scummy, I'll have to exclude the 4 player scum-team out of meta-game reasons. If all four were one team, then this game is broken.

Could there be two scum teams?
+would explain GR's and blotungas scumminess
-would not explain their reluctance to lynch trent
-we didn't have two NKs

So it would have to be one even-Night-killing team and one odd-Night-killing team.

Could GR and blotunga be a neutral team?
+would explain their interaction and GR's insecurity about what exactly they are
- it would still be 4 non-town against 8 town. But I still think it's a possible scenario.

Could GR and blotunga be Town?
- doesn't fit their behaviour
+ game-balance wise this assumption makes the most sense.

Scenario 3 and 4 would both mean that we have one scum left among the less active players. Neutrals don't really concern Town, if they are of the Survivor-type. So, as much as I feel that something is off with GR and blotunga, I probably have to redact my vote and put it on one of the four possible remaining scum.

Out of those LOLchan and nmillar had, as I previously explained, some exonerating moments in my view. That leaves Pooka and RedFire. Pooka didn't vote for any scum player. RedFire voted without much explanation.

RedFireGaming: Right now though, after reading SPF's and LOLChan's posts, paired with some suspicions of my own, I think Nmillar is the most likely to be scum.
Vote Nmillar
Care to elaborate on that? What are those 'some suspicions'? Why is Nmillar the most likely to be scum?
Finally you're talking sense. To explain why i didn't vote both cases is that by the time I was up-to-date, both wagons were L-1 and I didn't want to lynch to soon to have more info.

If you want btw after the game I will prove that at some point I asked joe whether I would know if GR was placed into scumteam. He's handling of the trent situation felt off, so even I had to wonder.
Anyway the far most likely in my book is still red, though he did want to start a different wagon, and I wonder if I were scum if I wouldn't simply wait out while town duke it out between themselves and just kill the rest during the nights.
So to get back to something productive:
@spf what do you think about red, pooka, nmillar and lolchan?
Wow, I was just thinking yesterday that the game seems to have ground to a halt, but it's really taken off again in the last 12 hours, so a little bit of reading for me to catch up on.

Also, where's Pooka?
P.S.
unvote blotunga

@blotunga: if you were neutral, would you admit that at this point?

Lifthrasil: P.S.

Yes. I am firmly town
12 hours of post are a lot to read

Aw Heck. the games gone nuclear.

Anyway my main suspicion is currently on pooka, her infrequent posts and reluctance to vote on any of the scum players makes pooka look like the lurking scum player waiting for town to kill the remaining players that others people have alluded to.

I don’t feel that blotunga or GR are scum. As lift said having 4 scum to 8 town would destroy the game giving the already higher win prone scum an even greater advantage.
avatar
nmillar: Also, where's Pooka?
I am here and reading. To be fair, all doubts I have about blotunga and GR were already expressed and questioned by others. I didn't know how to expand on these questions or what angles haven't been approached.

Alternatively, the lack of two NKs could be explained by trent's kill being blocked. That said, you do have a point with not wanting to lynch trent. Also, I think having the factional night kill being even and odd would be severely broken in Town's favor, since they have to sit around twiddling thumbs every other night. That would be a horrendously stressful game.

So at this point, we have barely any leads to the real scum (if we discount the blotunga and GR pair). Assuming we have only one scum left, should we mass claim? That would give us material on nmiliar, RFG, LOLchan and myself.

You want to flush out remaining PRs? Do you want to gauge if there's anyone more dangerous to you than the claimed 'Masons'? To have more information on which to decide your next NK?

But IF we decide to do a full claim you start. Followed by RedFire. Then the other two less active players.

Absolutely not. Are you suggesting we reveal to the remaining scum exactly who they should target, and in what order?

No.

Also no.

I can't night kill :T

Sure, I can agree to that.

nmillar: Absolutely not. Are you suggesting we reveal to the remaining scum exactly who they should target, and in what order?
Well, it's either we take the risk for an easier chance at nailing the remaining scum (either reduce the circle of suspicion to the Haitian Regulars or we have one who claimed a PR but can't produce a decent, believable story) or sit about waiting for something interesting to show up.

Remember it's not in my favor to mass-claim as the only remaining scum (the risk of being the lynch for merely suggesting the mass claims idea outweigh the benefits of knowing the power roles, a task already made easier by blotunga and GR's mason claims), it's actually in my scum favor that no mass claims happen at all.

Wrong. We have sample Haitian Regular PM. So it's easy for scum to fake a vanilla claim. Also, if we believe blotunga, we have evidence of non-standard roles. So it even easy for scum to make some PR up without drawing too much suspicion. However, the hypothetical lone remaining scum would indeed profit from a mass claim. Remove any investigative roles first. Then the most trusted players. I think at this point a mass claim would benefit scum much more than town.

Lifthrasil: -we didn't have two NKs
I have played in games with dual scum teams. One way mods sometimes balance this is by having one team only able to kill on odd nights and the other only on even nights.

Yes. That is what I was referring to with the even-night-killing team and odd-night-killing team...

Since trent team is dead, then if that would be the case, there wouldn't be a NK tonight. Alas if we don't lynch a scum I'm pretty sure there will be one.

Yourself? does that mean you have PR? Also, Mass claim just seems like a good way for scum to find out who to target first.
