Ixamyakxim: Normally I'd think so too but unless I'm a blind chicken with ADD he sort of breadcrumbed a role and hinted that he's a bit of a "big deal."

Plus if he is scum I don't get why he'd scream at the top of a steeple (did I spell that right?) that he voted to make sure he didn't get lynched. I almost want to slap a vote on you, but then I feel like YOU'RE too smart to not have known what he's doing. So maybe you're fishing too?

And am I the only one happy about Joe's flip after the non-claim? I mean I "assume" he was around to do it, but the wagon went fast at the end when we got close to end of day and I guess he could have missed his chance.

Lifthrasil: It is now Day 2. All votes are reset and the Day will start with Phase 1 (normal voting) again. Which will last for about 3 days +/- half a day.
This was written yesterday afternoon. So that means the Phase will end some time on Thursday or Friday early morning. European time. Which translates to 'some time Thursday' in US-time(s).

Why would I ever originally Vote someone if I thought they weren't scummy?? Granted his posts later were somewhat less so, but as has been stated clearly it was a bit late in the Day to make a mad dash to another lynch.

My original assessment and Vote were based on his lack of bolding his Vote on supplementscene. JoeSapphire is no rookie, so why he did such a thing was odd.

He also didn't make an attempt to remedy his Vote in subsequent posts. That is until he changed his Vote.

He also mentions bler144 prominently in his posts, listing him first on the possible scum team, yet Votes SirPrimalform......which he lists as third on the possible scum team.

Hindsight being what it is I'm content with his lynch. I would much rather have lynched mafia, obviously, but vanilla town is the next best option.

But couldn't you have made the same case without the first paragraph and a half at least and it would have been infinitely less LAMIST, and then filled in details if questioned on them? It's not like you're referring to events that no one noticed or commented on when it happened, right?

(I'm a big advocate for brevity.)

1) Question for you after re-reading you - from your POV would you say you've been asking other players questions that are intended to help sort them?

2) What do you make of Ix D1 and D2? In making that read of him, had you played with/observed him before?

3) I haven't actually thought this question through, so pardon that it's rough, but assume SPF is maf. With Joe flipped town, does maf!spf suggest any connections?

The Day drags on. It is almost noon and still there is no new prime suspect found. Everyone eyes everyone else, full of mistrust. But no one knows who might be a witch. A few timid accusations are exchanged, but otherwise the incarcerated women are quiet. Just glancing out of the window from time to time at the inexorably progressing sun. At least it turned out to be a nice day outside.

1) I suppose, no. I made votes to observe readion to sort players but I don't think I've asked others direct questions.
Why did you ask me this? (I'm not being flippant; I'm seriously interested why you asked me if I asked questions).

2) That he posted very little and didn't stand out in any way at all. Really, when I made post 292 when listing the POE names for SPF's patners I had to look at the player list to see whom I was missing (Ixam).
(I never played with Ixam and he played very little in the last game I hosted, but again he didn't post much there).

3) Off the top of my head: no.

Sure, a certain amount of self preservation is expected but it sounded like ZFR was making excuses.

As for flub, I read his post as more of a general attempt to avoid last minute chaos. While the rules in this particular game mean that we avoid our usual EoD1 fiasco resulting in a no-lynch, it brings its own potential for chaos.

I still really read ZFR's reasoning as "anyone but me".

My vote is very much a continuation of the position I held yesterday, reinforced by our exchange today. But I suppose the same could be said of your vote for me.

Honestly, I don't see much changing from further interactions between us and I'm aware of my tendency to tunnel. With that in mind I'll leave my vote on you and look at other players.

bler144: As for flub going at ZFR, I don't think he's responding to what ZFR did at the time, he's responding to ZFR's ex post facto framing of it. I don't see anything factually wrong with what ZFR said - my guess is it's something in the tone, or probably more likely the fact the ZFR felt a need to excuse himself by even bringing it up unprompted.
Actually, I'd say this is closer to my problem with ZFR than whatever you think I'm nuts for thinking. Perhaps I haven't been expressing myself well...

Re 3) There is the connection I mentioned earlier. maf!SPF would suggest town flub, since I don't see SPF putting a second vote on top of fellow scum's first one.

There's not a lot going on. Actually, nobody really stands out much at all.

Makes me think we have 1) a really lurky group 2) a lot of mafia 3) a lot of power roles...

... but most probably a combination of all those things. Or everyone is just playing a reallly tight close to the vest sort of game.

Every time I've found "scum" stuff it's been so wine in front of me (muddy's No Lynch, your "I don't want to be lynched," flubb jumping on you for it) that I'm not convinced enough it's legit to do anything about it.

Someone asked "Why scene last night" - I think I'm starting to get why. He was drawing a ton of attention - now we're all just sort of staring at each other wondering what's going on.

I might revert to my tendency to LaL - lynch all lurkers - but it's going to be tough to figure out where to start ;)
