Yeah this. I wouldn't say it's 100%, but it's pretty unlikely that ZFR decided to use the phrase Doctor Townie, and decided not to modkill a copy-paste-post infringement.

I'm ready to lynch supplementscene, but let's not do it immediately the morning after we the evening we failed to lynch him... Would it not be better to use the time we've got?

But with this you directly contradict post 387 in which you claimed that you revealed your whole PM. So, did you lie in post 387? Or are you lying now? ... Doesn't actually matter since both can't be true at the same time and Lynch all Liars is a rule for a reason.

You're not supposed to reveal whom you will protect next (if you survive this Day), but whom you protected in the past Night. Revealing that isn't dangerous for town. But your sentence that you don't want to reveal whom you protected implies that you did indeed protect someone. So not only did you survive the night. You apparently were also not roleblocked, although the majority of the scum-setups (and the more likely ones too) contain a roleblocker. So scum decided for some reason to not act at all against you.

I am quite sure that revealing who was protected in the previous night doesn't help scum much. Yes, if Scene is really a Doctor, revealing whom he protected tells scum whom Scene thinks to be town. But that doesn't mean that he will protect the same target again and reads change over the Day. So the risk in revealing whom he protected is minimal and if he really were a Doctor, it would be more important that we can evaluate his statement about whom he protected and, more importantly, why. Especially since Scene himself is under heavy suspicion right now, it would be crucial for him to be open and truthful. For me that "I won't reveal whom I protected" reads quite similar to Yesterday's "I am a PR but won't tell which". ... In other words, he probably didn't have a good reply prepared and needs some time to make one up.

I should have said that I didn't ask you and SirPrimalform that question strictly in relation to supplementscene.

Assume it's D2, and he actually were the Doctor. Also assume that whoever he protected N1 is indeed Town.
With how you know the Doctor role (typically) works, do you really think that, this early in the game, scum knowing who his N1 target was isn't helpful to them?


If you think that he's lied about being the Doctor Townie, you must think that he's scum (Mafia or SK). After how things went for him EoD, I wonder - do you think that he wasn't prepped by his mafia-buddies in the 48hrs since? Or if he's the SK, do you think that he didn't take some time to see if and how he can dig himself out of that mess?

Well I guess since it appears to be possible to have both a doc and a roleblocker it could tell a failed killer why they failed, but that's about it.

To me, supplementscene's reluctace to reveal who he "protected" reads like he wants to avoid digging the hole he's in any deeper. The more details are locked down, the more likely he is to get caught in a lie.

I mean another lie obviously since I'm fairly certain his claim was a lie.

Seems plausible, but if he really is scum I would think the team would have someone under less suspicion do the kill. Although, looking at the setup again I see no town watchers or trackers so I suppose there wouldn't be much risk there.

On a side note, could we, perhaps, agree not to use the term "scum" when referring to the Mafia? There's always a chance there's a SK in play.

Because absolutely none of supplementscene's mafia-buddies, should he be one of the team, would bus him in a heartbeat Yesterday if they thought he's going down, right?

What if supplementscene isn't a member of the mafia team, but the SK? Would that case still clear everyone on his wagon?
