You were only told it failed, not that you were blocked? Looking at the roles list I could imagine 1 or 2 other reasons why it failed.

True enough. I only know it failed. I suppose my gut instinct was just to assume that one of you hose-heads blocked me.

Looking at that list, I could have been jailkept or Sage could have commuted.

If you’re Town why in the hell would you expose the fact that you have a power role? That does us no good at all. I know you play mafia at a different level than most of us, but giving up a power role has no real upside that I can see.

I see the activity today has been very little. I know it’s the weekend but I sure hope it picks up so the game doesn’t get stale.

2 reasons. Firstly everyone seemed to be voting for SPF and I believe we need a discussion about all the lurkers generally.

Secondly I wasn't entirely happy with Sage's explanation for lack of play. She was sick in bed. Well she could still come online if shes sick in bed. But let's say she genuinely was too sick to play, well she hasn't played either since then. Maybe she's too sick and maybe she'd be a lurker if town but that's not much to go on.

I'm sorry, but if you're going to claim then claim. Claiming a power role and being blocked but not giving any further detail is useless, it paints a target on your back without providing town any info.
It attempts to make you look townie (I was blocked, blockers tend to be mafia therefore I must be town!) and you use it to throw shade at someone though it doesn't in anyway incriminate them.
I don't think we should target Yogsloth. If he's town he's dead tomorrow night already. If he's not we kind of find that out when he doesn't get merked. And if he is town and isn't somehow merked he'll come back with a kill tomorrow presumably?

Back to yogs: while I do agree in principle that we could wait whether yogs dies tonight and lynch him tomorrow if he did't die, I still want some clarification. This waiting game he suggests leaves to much room for WIFOM. Scum could not kill yogs specifically to make him tomorrow's mis-lynch, if he is town. Yogs could claim tomorrow that that is what scum intended when leaving him alive. Or that he was protected...

ok, first of all: sorry yet again. I feel like I'm being modkilled for lurking soon.
But it's not like that. I'm doing nightshifts and somehow that turns down my freely usable time each day to a few hours at best. And then yesterday when trying to write up a post, my laptop decided to break down and arbitrarily turn off :( taking that post with it to nirvana. So now before going back to work and after having set up my backup laptop, I'm trying my luck at posting again:

_Sage_ for being absent. I don't feel to be in a position to judge right now but the game is going on for 9 days now and sage posted "twice" once on the 27th so 2 days after game start and once 4 days ago.
We asked deadbolt to sub out when he didn't take part and maybe sage should consider the same, if she can't take part. :/ sorry sage, but please do take part or ask for a substitute.

_SPf_ for "Serial Lurking". (No SK role on the list, so I don't think that was a claim as vitek suggested.) But it is quite unfair to lurk like that because it makes people hard to read and should be a cause for being lynched easier as punishment, so that not more people do it. Just imagine what a game would look like with a lot of sages and SPfs and flubs and deadbolts (and mchacks nowadays). short. and everyone would loose interest soon So yes, I'm in for

_yogsloth_ for claiming to be roleblocked. As I said before I like the way yogs acted come deadline. The claim I don't get. Does he do it to avoid being lynched? I don't think there was much of a drive to lynch him before that. Could be he's lying, could be he's telling the truth, but I don't think I wanna chance killing off one of our power roles just like that. Bit more explanation would be nice though.

Anyway, I hope I can write a bit more later today, before going off to work. not sure if I can though.

Meanwhile, I always pick up votes. I'm always going to be one of the leading wagons. So do they spend a NK on me as a suspected PR, or do they think they might be able to lynch me? Could they really pull that off?

Nothing unreasoned about it at all, I just wasn't ready to discuss my reasons. However, I blew it as it would appear Vitek has worked out what I picked up on. I should probably have waited until later in the game before even pointing out that I was suspicious.

It's a tricky one. How good a player is Yogs? Maybe he is vanilla townee trying to play martyr. Maybe he's hoping a doctor protects him. Or maybe he's messed up and slipped. Perhaps he's mafia bluffing and when a kill happens he'll take credit. I think you have to give him a bit of a chance on this one. It's not like he can't be lynched in due time.
