adaliabooks: so the gambit is a total bust under all circumstances.
No. If it ended a no-lynch, and I did draw the NK with my lie it would have been good. Town would have gotten all the info they'd have gotten if I was lynched. And I'd get the NK as opposed to another townie.
avatar
ZFR: I know. Sorry.
I mean the crying was in jest! No need to apologise (apart from for lying as town)!
Just got in from work. I'll catch up as quickly as possible. I'm assuming we have not reached a lynch, correct??

Possibly, but it's a lot of ifs and buts. Scum may also have killed someone else hoping that leaving you alive would mean town lynched you D2 (no way a claimed lover should survive the night) and we'd have had an almost identical repeat of the last game.

Best not to lie at all as town except in exceptional circumstances.
Also, am I even allowed to post still after being lynched before day ends?
avatar
ZFR: Also, am I even allowed to post still after being lynched before day ends?
Yes, usually. Consensus being reached means the mob is coming for you, not that you're already dead so it's all good. You're just shouting your posts over your shoulder while running away. :P
avatar
ZFR: Also, am I even allowed to post still after being lynched before day ends?
Yeah, until Joe ends the day your fine to keep posting.

I think yogs' vote was hammer, couldn't see any unvotes and ZFR was at L-1
What did you think will happen? That we shall take it at face-value and leave you alone and won't ask anything?

I lean on side of believing you but you could as easily be mafia who was stopped last second from dragging your buddy with you.

I don't know where the Day will end and there certainly won't be other wagon.

*Sigh*

Wild Charge ZFR

I thought so too, although I haven't actually checked. Anyone want to stick an extra one on to make sure?
I see I forgot to bold my unvote before so yog was indeed hammer.

Vitek: I see I forgot to bold my unvote before so yog was indeed hammer.
Hurrah!

flubbucket: Just got in from work. I'll catch up as quickly as possible. I'm assuming we have not reached a lynch, correct??
Brief scanning indicates that Yog has just hammered ZFR.

Looks like ZFR claimed lover, then back tracked it to vanilla. I look forward to reading more thoroughly once I'm not on mobile. Welcome, fellow Lies-While-Vanilla! Let's talk usage post game!

Vitek: What did you think will happen? That we shall take it at face-value and leave you alone and won't ask anything?
Of course not. I was thinking either we get on another wagon which has to be better than me because I know I'm town. Or maybe end with a no-lynch and I draw the NK which is also not bad.

I didn't think I could end up drawing Doc's protection. And I really didn't think the partner candidate field is so narrow that mafia could go for my partner instead.

ZFR: ............
adaliabolts
deadbooks??

avatar
adaliabooks: ......<snip>.........
I like this. However I disagree with yogsloth as scum at this time.

avatar
supplementscene: ..........
Is it actually possible to be mod-killed in the game?
Yes. I have been modkilled more times than I can count.

avatar
supplementscene: There wasn't a misrepresentation as such, more a misunderstanding of the numbers.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: I quoted the most egregious misrepresentation in my post 237.

However, there is a discrepancy here that I'm curious how you address.

avatar
supplementscene: Bookwyrm saying he isn't available on deadline day, stating he is only voting Deadbolt and the rest should come into his line or fail to get a lynch sounds very scummy
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Per your earlier statements about your understanding, how all of town needs to vote together or a lynch can't be achieved, you're putting words in my mouth that all the townies need to join me or there won't be a lynch. That is scummy.

avatar
supplementscene: You said you might not be available today and if we had needed all town to agree as was my impression, there would of been an issue with that.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Here you state that I'm town. If I were scum, then my vote being MIA would be irrelevant.

avatar
supplementscene: But then again saying you're unavailable and deciding to vote against the likely candidate would be a scum tactic too.
avatar
Bookwyrm627: But now we're back to me using a scum tactic.

So Supplement, am I town or am I scum? Because I'm seeing you inherently acting as though you know I'm town while trying to simultaneously paint me as scum.

Blame Joe for the unbalanced role.
I have no lover.

Vote: ZFR

Bookwyrm627: Welcome, fellow Lies-While-Vanilla! Let's talk usage post game!
Yeah but both you and ele "lied" by hinting you have a power role to draw NK last game. That's what I was doing. I thought that's what a vanilla *should* do.

And initially I just hinted...

Also, by the way my backtracking to vanilla wasn't so I don't get lynched. Quite the opposite...
