ZFR: Sorry.

I'm under time pressure here.
Twas in jest!
Sigh. I *really* should learn how to play vanilla.

Last game after I claimed vanilla, flubbucket admonished me strongly saying it's a terrible way to play vanilla. The proper way is to try and draw a mafia NK.
I was also given lots of flak for not scumhunting and questioning others.

So this time, after I drew vanilla again, I decided to do both; I gave scumhunting my best shot.

Later, I decided to take flub's advice and draw the NK. What best role to appear as; my first thought was to be beloved princess. That would be a good target for NK. Later I changed my opinion to lover since that sounded more believable. Should draw mafia's NK right? 2 townies for the price of 1 are tempting.

Except I didn't think it through and later you made me realize I'd be drawing doctor's valuable protection while scum could easily hunt for my partner because Vitek is right. Those are the only viable options.

Vitek: That would leave flub, Sage (who ZFR suddenly mentioned as suspect) and Bookwyrm.
Bookwyrm and flub. And that's when I realized what a terrible mistake I made by mentioning Sage as a suspect.

If one of Bookwyrm/flub is scum, they could easily NK the other one thinking they're NKing one of the lovers duo. Thus what could be a valuable townie would die while the doctor is protecting my vanilla. On top of that, on D2 my lie would come to light and instead of concentrating on lynching scum, I'd be lynch target thus wasting another day.

So this is me coming clean. I hope at least that reactions to my lie would prove some valuable info for town. Personally, for me the reaction which gained most town points was trent's. Also Lift a bit, yog too. While adalia still sounds most scummy.

Seriously?? You are now claiming vanilla....

I took that as him saying flub was Town, only way he knows that is if flub’s his Lover
I don't see that in it.
He says that if deadbot flips scum flub and LIft will be slightly more likely to be town, I suppose because deadbot voted both of them.
That doesn't indicate them being lovers IMO.

Yes. I explained my reasoning. DIdn't think it through.

Please don't let D1 end like last game.

It’s a moot point anyway, seems ZFR was lying
I need to refersh first.

*Facepalm*
Enh, whatever. Worst case is we lose a vanilla. I'm not going to no-lynch.

Never lie as Town, more harm than good comes of it. There are exceptions, but rare ones.

Thanks. I hope this lynch at least gives you info.

What is a vanilla supposed to do at L-1 then? Claiming is bad as last game proved. What then?

ZFR: Sigh. I *really* should learn how to play vanilla.
Damn dude...

I do tend to believe you, though I wouldn't be surprised by it being an act to try and survive (it's the kind of thing I would do...) but whether I believe you or not you need to be lynched to be sure, and there's not really any time or info to go for someone else.

I disagree with your conclusions about the reactions (of course), I was right that you were lying, just didn't expect you would do so as town.

Also, if this is genuine you should consider the only way it works is if we don't lynch you, meaning we either No Lynch or lynch someone else who is possibly a townie with a power role, so the gambit is a total bust under all circumstances.

I was trying to draw the NK. I didn't think I'd survive the night so it wouldn't matter.

No, claiming wasn't the problem last game, it was the way you did it that made it seem very likely you were town and telling the truth. That and the fact that everyone jumped off to pursue another possible lynch instead of just finishing you off as they should have (which isn't your fault).
